  1. The May 19th sailing is leaving from Norfolk and arriving in Baltimore. They were told around the 8th or 9th to get prepared.
  2. Thanks for the support. I needed to change my return flight as I didn’t think we would get back in time. I took a gamble and moved both flights to Norfolk. I would have switched it back to Baltimore if needed. It paid off for me but the process was more stressful than I would have liked.
  3. It arrived at 5:45pm. Ship is leaving and arriving from Norfolk. There is a 5 hour bus ride as an option and a $100 on board credit per room. Got the news 3 days and 19 hours before boarding. Better late than never.
  4. That was the cruise line’s first communication with us. I will never cruise with them again. Their PR stinks. It is an unprecedented situation, but I feel that we should have had them reach out even if just to offer support.
  5. I got the same email. Carnival’s communication skills leave much to be desired. What are the chances that the ship can disembark in Norfolk and then make the 198 nautical mile journey to pick us up?
  6. I am pondering the possibility of changing my flight to Norfolk and renting a car to drive to Baltimore if I made a bad decision. The 4 hour bus ride will be too tight for my flight home. I am disappointed that they haven’t reached out at all
  7. I am sailing in just over 3 weeks. I called Carnival and they are not providing any information until 15 days prior to sailing. what are people doing? Rerouting my flights for 3 people will cost an extra $1000. I am finding this very stressful
