    We are in Bucharest for our Viking cruise north to Budapest starting June 13 from Ruse. Any news on river levels between here and Budapest or any predictions on the coming wave?

    Has Austria lifted the ban on river travel on the Danube? Is there any news on Bratislava and the flooding there? is there river traffic between Budapest and Bucharest? Our cruise leaves Bucharest June 12, if a boat arrives there by then. Is anyone else in the same boat, so to speak? We greatly appreciate your help.

    We are supposed to leave in 2 days to go to Bucharest and get our river boat there on June 11 for the Viking cruise upriver to Amsterdam. Does anyone know what is happening on the lower Danube?
