  1. £11.50 in the beach house last week. It may be cheaper to pre book at home.
  2. If room service have the spirits you like then it’s best to go with that and be legit. I think a litre of Bombay sapphire on our recent Arvia cruise was £28 which is reasonable compared to supermarkets. Beware of the £2.50 delivery charge although last time I ordered this way they didn’t charge me. You can take your own mixers
  3. I’d risk the spirits at embarkation if you don’t take too much. At ports, you are supposed to hand in any purchases but there was no ‘honesty table’, in fact no table or steward anywhere. You run the risk, of course, but it seems they are more interested in other security items. I once had a pair of small ikea scissors confiscated from my hand luggage.
  4. We were on deck 11 on this cruise and I have to agree that after the disappointing start of a 3 hour delay, the rest of the cruise was amazing. Happily, there didn’t seem to be any probs from noro so maybe their ‘deep clean’ worked. The 710 club is worth booking early as it only holds about 50 people and is popular. The captain amused every night with his jokes!
  5. Sailaway time has been put to 20:30. I think it’s usually 17:30
  6. Thanks. Our new time is 14:30 then. I hope everyone adheres to their new times.
  7. Can we drop our bags and then go off site if we have to wait the full 3 hours? It’s not far to Oxford street with its bars and restaurants.
  8. We are also on this cruise. Anyone know if the peninsular lunch will go ahead or be cancelled?
