I wonder if a refund will be issued to those who choose to cancel because of this integral part of this ship not being available. If not opened by next month, I'll seriously consider canceling before I make the final payment for the TA in April.
I feel the same as you do. I am actually right now looking at other options.
Wish NCL could be open about this, communicate.

Has anyone on the upcoming cruises heard anything from NCL about this?
Will be on the Epic for the fourth time early next year, while it is not my favourite ship, it is my favourite Spice.
Thanks

Can I assume you've seen the Latitudes website - https://www.ncl.com/latitudes-rewards-program#tier_benefits
and this footnote regarding the dining Bolding done by me?
6 Benefit is available on sailings 5 days or longer, and entitles each guest to an appetizer, one entrée and dessert of choice. Upcharges apply to certain premium menu items; Raw Bar Seafood Platter is not included. Bottle of Wine offered in all venues offering Complimentary Wine list, Palomar not included. In à la carte restaurants, coupon can be redeemed for 4 menu items per person (Sushi, Wasabi, Nama, Teppanyaki, Hasuki, Food Republic, Pincho Tapas Bar or Raw Bar). Additional entrées will incur supplemental charges. Dinner coupons are non-transferrable. Solo guests cannot claim two dinners. Coupons can’t be used for the same venue twice. 2 guests maximum. Dining options vary by ship.
Does that mean two dinners (for one), which means in reality four dinners per solo traveller, or does it also mean one dinner (for two)?

Just looked up the Infinity from Fort Lauderdale to Rio de Janeiro, late november this year. About 590 cabins available out of 1085. Still the prices have gone up quite a bit the last six months.
-
Our two cabins for our November sailing also had the beverage packages cancelled out of the blue. But I was able to order it again, no charge, in the cruise planner.

What brands of water and sparkling water are included in the premium plus package?
Still is Acqua Panna, Sparkling San Pellegrino.

Solstice unfortunately doesn't have LCG. Silhouette maybe?
Of course, it was the Silhouette.😀

On Solstice in April it was $15. Make your own sallad as appetizer, as main you could choose between quite a few hamburgers. It was empty most days. We had some obc to spend, we enjoyed it. But would not do it again without obc.

If I ever need emergency medical attention, hopefully it is without a crowd with cameras.

Having been on a lot of NCL cruises in the past, I am very happy about this change. Seems more solid and upscale. Both breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Hope it goes fleetwide sooner than later.

I sent an email yesterday to the latitudes email address, today I got a new confirmation. From an inside to a balcony on the Epic. 15 nights transatlantic. Yes, it is next door to La Cucina, but still, it has natural light and fresh air. I am happy.

I am not sure if this is covered in this thread, so if it is here and I missed it, I'm sorry!! My husband doesn't drink wine, but I do with meals. If I get the Premium Plus Package and order a bottle of wine, will they hold it for me in the dining room so that I can drink it over a couple of nights? Trust me, no one wants me to drink a single bottle in one night! We are sailing in the Haven on the Encore to Alaska next summer. I know that's a while out, but I'm so stinking excited that I can't keep myself off these boards, YouTube, etc. Thanks in advance for any advice/info!
That is your choice. Either you bring the bottle with you after dinner and take it to your cabin, or you ask the restaurant staff to store the bottle for you.

Any info out om what they actually are doing with the Spice area?
-
Has anyone tried this on the Epic from an inside room to a balcony? Since there are no oceanviews...
-
I have hade the premium plus on my last five cruises. The bottles of Champagne and Chateauneuf du pape is almost worth it alone. San Pellegrino is, my opinion, the best sparkling water, and Acqua Panna is the only Still water that tastes still water.
More often than not the premium wine selection is very poor in most of the bars.

Sport24 is what they haven on the ships. And they do show the NHL and the playoffs.

Thanks for the menus! Some new dishes at Le Bistro since my last cruise.
Though, it seems quite difficult to find a main course for the Latitudes dinner...

Did not want to start a new thread. But, as of right now, I think NCL is the only major Cruise Line that forces the passengers in Europe to wear face masks. Even on the Getaway, which does not visit a single port that requires face masks.
I find that very weird. And it probably will cost them costumers.

In northern Europe (Scandinavia) no one really uses cash. Most places dont accept cash payments. Tipping is also very, very rare here.

Curious if things have changed recently or whether it is just the cruises we are booked on. It use to always be 90 Days prior to Cruise. I tried searching and everything I pulled up was quoting 90 days.
We are on a B2B2B on Silhouette - April 8. (64 Days from now). It has not yet opened nor are the April 21 or April 30.
45 days prior on the March 28 Silhouette cruise.

Same thing also in Denmark as of yesterday. Next week Sweden will remove all Covid restrictions. Also Finland, and a few more European countries will do/ have done the same.
