We are scheduled to be in Cozumel from 11 AM until 8 PM on November 3rd. We are booked for the Tulum tour, but I am having second thoughts about it with it coming back in the dark. Is it safe? The sun is scheduled to set at 7:02 PM.

No dive in movies. No TV on the Lido deck. And, we found ourselves busy all the time. Like I said though, we tried some new things this cruise that we had not before. We like the serenity deck and were there most late mornings/early afternoons. We like the comedy club, etc.
I did save the Fun Times and if anyone would like to see them or a certain day, I can scan them.
I would really appreciate you including the Fun Times in your review as we are on this cruise at the end of October. Thank you so much for the great review!

It's under your documents. Go to the area to print out your tags etc. it will be in those documents.
Yes it is! Thank you :)

Currently I have 2 cruises booked (October 2015 and April 2016). I faxed in the information to get my shareholder credit on these cruises and have gotten confirmation that they have been credited. They OBC does not show on my Cruise Details. Is this normal? Also, I have an OBC for a price drop on my October cruise which does not show on the Cruise Details. Is that normal? I do have emails to back up the credits, but if they should be showing I would prefer to get it straight now instead of at the port. Thanks for the help!

I'm looking at a park and cruise option too. I see a few hotels that appear to offer that option. Opinions please:
Quality Inn & Suites - 4955 E 18th Ave
Clarion Hotel - 2701 E Fowler Ave
Tampa Stadium (formerly Holiday Inn Express)- 4750 N Dale Mabry Hwy
Country Inn & Suites - 8109 Benjamin Rd
Ramada Westshore - 1200 N Westshore
Hampton Inn Westshore - 4817 W Laurel
Hyatt Place - 4811 W Main St
Our cruise leaves Oct 31st. Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks for the information!

If I have the 100 shares as part of my IRA, that wouldn't make a difference would it. The IRA is in my name so I would think as long as I could show that I own the shares I would be entitled to the OBC.

Good prices and the ability to cruise from a port reasonably close to home.

We once got a check for $11 back after we returned home due to skipping a port. Didn't spend anything onborad

Very Nice Thanks. For us "Gym rats" onlything missing is types of equipment availble and types of fitness classe. But that information isn't something that's readily available on line. Would take some diligent effort to compile. But the food stations ARE there and that's a great plus.
If you all would like to take up a donation to pay my way, I would be willing to sail each ship and diligently catalog all of the equipment in the fitness centers AND every fitness class offered. I'm just helpful that way.
By the way - Love the spreadsheet!

Glad to hear that since we will be on her in October! Assumed that all of the Fantasy class ships did not....Happy to be wrong ;)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for posting this! I was able to get enough cards to pay my gratuities and even book an excursion for our cruise next year. Already have our October cruise taken care of with these awesome gift cards. :D

Last week I received an email acknowledgment my $40 price protection was approved. Shortly after another email showing my booking with the $40 price protection in print.
Just received another acknowledgement that my $190 price protection was approved. This time no email showing any credit, in fact I don't see my $40 credit when I go on their website and hit manage account tab and then cruise details.
We got a $110 OBC from the 24-hour sale. I see the reduced price for the cruise but not the OBC. Didn't really think to look for it until I saw this. Will have to keep an eye out for that!

Thank you all for the quick responses! I still learn so much for the great folks on Cruise Critic :)

I purchased some cards through AARP, thanks to someone posting their availability on CC. I have paid for my cruises and have some money left over. I attempted to make some Fun Shop purchases online, but it seems they only offer the ability to pay for those via credit card. Can you pre-pay for shore excursions with a gift card? If I understand correctly you can pre-pay gratuities with gift cards, but only onboard. Thanks for your help!

The $500 cards were sold out when I checked, but I was able to get 10 - $100 cards, so that works. I am so glad that I saw this thread because I had no idea that there was such a thing and I have been able to purchase enough to pay off 2 cruises!! Heck yeah, I'll take that 10% discount :D

Check out this article! Someone posted it over on the Carnival board:
I'll be going there on the Valor in January!
So ready to go there, but our trip is a LONG way off! Thanks for sharing....

We arrive in Amber Cove the last week of October. I have been in contact with Marysol Tours and doing their Dune Buggy tour. They pick you up at the port. Several tours offered and great communication through email.
Thank you for the name of the tour operator. We have just booked for April 30, 2016 and I was looking for information. This is great!

I'd like to know this too. Have been on Fantasy several times and really like her and have booked Ecstasy for April 2016. Looking forward to it!

Hey, everybody, my Mom passed Tuesday. I will be back to finish the review, I promise. Thanks for your kind thoughts.
So sorry for your loss! Prayers for peace for you and your family.

Just booked the NE/Canada cruise in Sept 2015 on the Grandeur. Anybody done that sailing yet? Any not to miss items in those ports?
We did this cruise last September and it was great. One thing NOT to do is a whale watching excursion in Halifax. It was a great disappointment, but those that went whale watching in Bar Harbor said it was great. We loved Bar Harbor and did the bike tour there, we took a duck boat tour in Portland which was OK, in Saint John we did a Dave's Taxi Tour which was very good and as I said the whale watching in Halifax was disappointing. The trip was very good, thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary!

I'll probably be down there taking a few shots of the Grandeur if its a nice day so check back. You might see a picture or two of the ship you were on.
We are certainly hopeful that it will be a nice day! :)

We are booked through the cruise line. Did realize that we should actually be back before dark too after I looked up the sunset times. Thanks for the response!
