My wife and I are on the Icon of the Seas currently and we were nearing the first stop of Sain Maarten. The captain came over the intercom and stated that while the ship was completely safe, they were experiencing some mechanical issues that resulted in the ship having to reduce speed. As a result, 1 of our three stops for this 8 day cruise were canceled. He stated that everyone on board would receive a credit of one days fare automatically. no further explanation.
