  1. MSC Seashore finally sent the email of choosing to leave Friday and miss a night or reschedule. I will be rescheduling due to the uncertainty of what will happen with the storm. We have no idea what type of Damage we will have or if we lose power for days with that type of uncertainty and rough seas I have decided for a credit. Good luck to all traveling.
  2. Ok im really annoyed at MSC i just called and no answers as of what will happen. They said they have no word on port canaveral being closed. COME ONNNNN you just went through this 10 days ago!!! You know Port Canaveral will be closed and you wont be allowed back to port till Friday. They did mentioned a full refund at this point I will love to get a full refund instead of waiting and see when can i schedule again. I also don't want to get a shorter cruise just to leave on Friday without knowing the extend of the damage here in land after it passes. As a local resident its not really a big deal to reschedule but to have all this uncertainty and people who are traveling and the airport is closed etc it seems like a huge annoying situation to deal with the fact that they have no answers on will happen to their trip. All major cruiselines have sent communications out MSC refuses to plan ahead. The 2 cruiseships expected on port canaveral today reroute their port day and went elsewhere.
  3. @Meli1234agreed they should have provided some sort of update. As far as port flooding that will really depend on which location you pick. I never had issues but I've always chose to park at the parking garage. These days i just uber do to being so close. As far as the ship that went out while helene was around my friend didnt mentioned any motion sickness or bad experiences at sea. She did said they kept them informed as when arriving that the port was closed and that they will enjoy another day at sea. They went south away from tbe rougg waters and it wasnt bad. As of now they really are waiting ok any decisions made by Port Canaveral since they are the only cruise schedule Thursday and we really have no idea how much of an impact Milton will have on our area since the path still a bit undetermined. It’s a waiting game for now. its really too early to cancel anything we even had a shuttle leave today around lunch time. We will be receiving 3 visiting ships on port tomorrow life goes on out here until they shut us down.
  4. Port Canaveral has set a hotline for port status 321-394-3411. As of now they are sure they will be closing down later in the week and that will impact Thursday and Friday cruises. I am a local resident and will keep an eye out for any news regarding port canaveral and the cruises schedules. Brevard county Schools are closed wed and thursday but will resume on friday.
  5. From those leaving on MSC cruises with no answer. We still have no answers they just replied to my message from yesterday.
  6. Most likely will happen the same as Helene. Your cruise will leave but might not be allowed to come back to port on Thursday. Last weekend MSC cruise got an extra day I had a friend in that cruise. I’m really hoping that’s not the case because I’m supposed to be leaving on Thursday.
  7. I leave on seashore on Thursday. My friend was in seashore last week and she got an extra day after the hurricane. I think I might lose a day on mine 😞 will depend on them closing the port if everything is back to business Thursday we should be fine. Those leaving tomorrow might get an extra day please pack for extra days.
