Thanks for all the info!
Now I just have to decide which days to eat in the MDR and which other restaurants to eat at and when - haven't done Izumi before so looking forward to that although can't decide between Sushi and Hibachi!
I'm a little confused as to what menus will be offered on a 6 day cruise.
The info i can find says:
Day 1 - Welcome Aboard
First formal night - French
First Caribbean port - Caribbean
All sailings 6 nights or longer - second formal night - Royal Menu
Last night - Bon Voyage
All sailings 6 nights and longer will offer the Italian Menu on one night and the British Menu on one night
But that makes 7 menus and there are only 6 nights. I tried looking at the app for a 6 night sailing but it only has the first 4 nights on there and the other two it only has the kids menus rather than the theme menus showing.......
Can anyone clarify which menus are likely to be offered (it's because we are looking to book some speciality dining too and we'd like to make sure we get the theme nights we want in the MDR, so it would be good to have clarity over the menus)
I've just noticed that the Set Sail passes have the drinks packages on, but don't say anything about the UDP. If we, say, wanted to eat at Johnny Rockets on boarding day, before we got the room cards, would we be able to without paying?
Thanks all. We heard from them yesterday and they've confirmed all our reservations today, so all good to go!
So excited - it's our first cruise in 12 years and the first our girls will have been on so very high levels of excitement in the house now...
If you’re in a suite on a non Royal suite class ship (Liberty in this case), where do you get breakfast and is the menu the same as the MDR? I’m loving the idea of eggs Benedict and hash browns for breakfast - i may have to bring some larger size clothes with me to prepare for all the food I’m planning to eat!
Booked in April ‘21, but had forgotten I had a Crown and Anchor number so I didn’t put that in when I booked. Will that affect the points I get? I’ve added it now.
Can someone explain to me how the points work? I’m a gold member (only 8 points) but my family (husband and two girls age 8 and 10) haven’t cruised RCCL before so have no points.
We’re travelling on a 7 night cruise on Liberty in a GS.
How many points will I have at the end of the sailing and how many will they have?
I uploaded the vacc card proof for one of us and the NHS data for the other one (over two weeks ago) and so far nether have shown up as validated, so I’m getting a little worried.
Anyone from the UK that has cruised since COVID - what docs do you need to present at the pier as proof of vaccine? Do they want a print out of the doc from the NHS app, or the actual vacc card?
Also, kids under 12 don’t have their proof available on the NHS app, so anyone know what I need to provide for them?
Thanks!
The unlimited dining package and the deluxe beverage package both give you discounts on wine by the bottle. I'm assuming if you have both packages you only get one discount rather than being able to apply two discounts?
I'm in the UK and I'm trying to figure out what time of the morning I'll need to set my alarm from to check in on the app for my upcoming cruise. Some of the posts I've seen say midnight EST and some of them say midnight local port time.
We're cruising out of Galveston, so from what I can tell it's an hour different from EST? So which one is correct (as it will have a big impact on what time I have to get out of bed, early either way!)
