I've had a small microwave on every cruise, however it never seems to heat anything. I end up storing our passports there.
But the cruise line could use it to spy on you !! We

John,
I was very honked but Royal had no sympathy. Love Key West. [emoji41]

I think that most will continue to give the delivery person a few bucks. I will on my upcoming 4.24 cruise. I have already decided to move on from Royal following this voyage. I have three additional cruises booked (ready to book two additional) none of those with RCCL.

Loved your review. Booked on 4/24 for a 4 nigh that was mysteriously changed from a 5 night without explanation. The annual Boy's Cruise. I hope we have better experiences at the bar. We have already moved from Carnival to RCCL due to many of the same reasons. Having felt wronged with the day reduction (they dropped Key West, a Boy's favorite) we have moved the 2018 Boy's event to Celebrity. Thanks for your insight and warnings [emoji41]

Your age would be a consideration. Currently in the Caribbean your choice on MSC is Divina. I loved Divina. Booked on Seaside 4/2017 [emoji41]

Bob,
I feel your pain. Booked on Empress (4/24). They changed from 5 nts. to 4 with no notice. Found the info. here on CC [emoji35] Royal offered chump change. Their arrogance is unbelievable for a "hospitality" company. I prefer Celebrity but it's the same company. [emoji854]

We have sailed Reflection (loved the Lawn Club Grille), Allure (all good), and in January Silhouette. There was nightlife. I would go Celebrity.

We use Uber. The hotel shuttles are the most expensive option and they jam you in with pax from other ships. Uber is just your party.

We followed Allure with MSC Divina. Kids sail free.

Do you believe your tip on your credit card at a restaurant ashore goes to the employees? In the US (yes, I know the cruise ship isn't subject to US law), a gratuity is legally the property of the employee. The employer can compel pooling, and hold back the credit card fees, but the rest legally belongs to the employee(s). Do you trust those bean counters?
I don't mean to disagree.
A restaurant tip in US establishment is regulated much differently than a vessel registered in a foreign country for the same reasons I don't trust the bean counters. As has been posted earlier, even crew agree that the "envelope" system worked. I did many cruises on the envelope system. I prefer it. I doubt many tip more (aggregate) than I do. JM0.
