check all your bags except your carry on first. this will get rid of your bags first.
Then check in, & don't be late, be early.

Hi Everyone,
Hoping someone can help me fairly quickly please!
We are due to sail on MSC Preziosa this Saturday (27 Sept) and I have just realised I forgot to pack my motion sickness medication! I am currently in Venice and can easily run out to buy some tomorrow however I am hoping someone here can point me in the right direction re medication names? At home I take Kwells (Australia) but have also taken Dramamine and Bonine in the US in the past so can take any of these meds - I just need to know what I'm asking for!
Thanks all and happy cruising! :)
Dramamine maby, I have used green apples & ginger.

Not long after booking my cruise, I got a puppy. My cruise is still a few months off and my puppy is now almost 6 months old, but I already feel guilty about leaving her with a friend or boarder for a week. Anyone else ever feel this way?
A friend or family member, but make sure if they have pets their pets have no bad habits.

You can order one at the gift shop.

I have had no problem for the tendering. Just don't miss the time zones when in place.

My fiancee and I have been going back and forth on what we want to do for the honeymoon....we know we are going on a cruise. I had originally looked at Navigator of the Seas out of Galveston, Texas going to Cozumel, Belize City and Roataan on a balcony stateroom. She about hit the roof when I told her how much it was going to cost. She prefers an interior stateroom because if she gets migraines the only thing that cures it is a dark room. We are planning on going August 30, 2015. We want to do a week long cruise and here are the other options we have...please help us choose!
Carnival Dream out of New Orleans going to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Montego Bay.
Carnival Liberty out of San Juan going to St Thomas, Bridgetown, Castries, Basseterre and Philipsburg
And obviously Navigator of the Seas is still in play....also Carnival Pride is going out of Baltimore to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Freeport.
We're first time cruisers, so we want to do something enjoyable. Thoughts?
Carnival Liberty out of San Juan going to St Thomas, Bridgetown, Castries, Basseterre and Philipsburg. Don't forget the cost for the flight.

Thanks to the many people who answered all my questions about the Veendam. Ship is lovely and I'm sure I'm going to have a wonderful cruise. The mariner lunch was lovely and I met some really nice people. Staff has been incredibly nice so far. Thank you so much. If I get the chance, I'll stop back with updates.
Thanks for the good up-date. We also like the Veendam.

Thanks for the info, we just might try this. :)

Just got a call from our travel agent, early dining is over booked for our cruise which leaves in 12 days. They are looking for people to switch to the late seating and they are offering $50 per cabin, obc. Good luck with that. Not getting early seating or anytime dining is a deal breaker for us. We booked this cruise eight months ago just for this. Besides, with prepaid gratuities, we'll have a hard time spending the $300 obc we got when we booked. 12 days before sailing and they just found this out? You got to love their computer system.
I also like early, but the last few times we were traveling with the majority liking late. I found that I was fallowing asleep, not fun. Stay where you are.

Wow...it is finally open! Yesterday, we just disembarked in the new Port of San Francisco and all I can say is YAY!!
It is clean and designed so well -- perfect disembarkation -- partially thanks to Princess. The nice thing is the Embarcadero in SF is not all clogged up with embarking and disembarking passengers. The designed a nice large drive through area so now there is a spot for plenty of cabs available. Nice job. What a pleasure to be one of the first ships to use the new port.
Now....we need more cruises departing from this wonderful new pier. Bring it on!!
Thanks for the info, we will use it in three weeks. I am also happy it is open.

Do you have to wake up early and get out of your cabin or can you sleep in? Would the laundry rooms be available. What would you do all day? Do you have to get off the ship. Any other info would be appreciated.
Do you have to do 2 muster drills? Thanks. Linda
This can vary at your 2nd cruise turnaround port. As for sleeping in, no problem.

Could anyone who is now on board or will be departing on the 9/27 Coastal tell me if they are offering the Embarkation Dinning Room lunch? Its always such a calming experience after the stress of packing and boarding.
Thanks for the help...:)
Yes it is from noon to 1:30pm. Can't wait we will be on the star in 3 weeks.:)

Nice pictures, hope you had a good cruise.

We will be on Golden soon and are planning to dine at the Steakhouse as well as Sabatinis.
What is the dress code for dinner in these locations?
Thanks in advance
Good choice for Sabatinis, as for the dress code look sharp. Great dinning.

My partner and I are new to cruising this year and spent a delightful 2 months celebrating my 40th earlier this year on two Seabourn vessels. We have unexpectedly won a 3 week cruise (departing Oct 2014) with a great itinerary of plenty of sea days. Just wondering what to expect in terms of food quality and service aboard Sun Princess? Also any tips on clothing, we packed fairly extravagantly for Seabourn and are hoping to avoid all the luggage required for two months.....I'm hoping it's a bit more casual this time around so tips for appropriate dinner wear would be appreciated!
Princess always likes to please, as for food I have never experienced a bad one.
Be sure to take close for formal night.

I'm sitting on the balcony of my lovely and comfortable state room... looking at the bridge from pier 93. We were supposed to leave around 3:30, and there was an announcement that we would be delayed till after 9. It's now 10:19, and about a half hour ago we were informed that work being done wasn't done yet, and we won't leave till after 1am. I asked a crew member, and he said the propeller was being worked on. So.. Just in case this info interests or helps anyone, there it is. I'm not thrilled, but at least I'm on the ship!
That's not fun, hope you aren't late to your first port. Have a good cruise.

I just booked a 5 night getaway for November and received a$ 400 OBC. We have another cruise booked for January. Can we "carry over " any unused OBC to the January cruse?
I have carried the OBC on a B2B.

I have been through the Panama twice, & it's expensive for the taxes. The cost is high going through the Panama for the ships..
