I include my stock statement and my cruise reservation confirmation along with my letter.  I also include the ship, dates, etc, but that is also on the reservation.  Just faxed mine today.  They prefer FAXES.

Just heard from someone on the Alaska leg.  Masks were not required.

A friend knows we just cancelled our cruise.  She said to make  10 cocktails and put one in each room of our house and call it a Pub Crawl.

Any specific port taxes, only apply to drinks bought / taken on a drinks package whilst at that specific port.

I know there is an added tax on items purchased in Hawaii, but does that apply if I pre-order a water package online a week before we embark?

I would check ASAP and get your reservations right.  I do believe you, or someone, will be charged for a NoShow.

I like the salad bar in Moderno much more than the meats.  Maybe just have the lamb chops and filet.

I had some friends just off Pride of America and they were really disappointed in main dining room food.  Specialty restaurants were ok.  Would you agree regarding the Jewel?

The last few times on HAL it was available daily in the Lido.  I think 3 varieties each day.

I'm a 4-star Mariner. The loyalty benefits I appreciate most are:

Free laundry,

50% discount at specialty restaurants,

50% discount on wine packages.

Our next cruise will put us at 4-star. Free laundry, etc is great. 50% off wine and restaurants makes them doable.

I believe the "Hands-on- cooking classes have been eliminated and replaced with America's Test Kitchen demos. I am bummed. I think there are only 4 demos on all ships, so if I do several cruises, I will see the same things over and over.

We did a Pullmantur cruise 6 years ago from Bilbao to Valencia. They grouped us English speakers together at dinner tables. Almost all staff spoke English well enough.

I figured the iron would be a no but because the travel iron is so small that it might have been OK. Thanks for the quick reply.

She can get a small seam roller. Similar to seam roller for wallpaper seams. That works well for me.
