  1. Well when you pick an old ship in the carnival class I am not surprised to see you jump ship. I have been on carnival Dream and breeze twice. We had an outstanding trip on the new ships. We have also been on Royals freedom of the seas. We didn't actually find Royal to be any better. Just a lot pricier. Stick to the new ships on either class and you will be pleasantly surprised. We are going on the oasis in June and hoping for a great trip.

  2. I only cruised royal once on freedom of the seas. We have sailed many times on carnival. We love carnival breeze and dream. We paid so much more for royal cruise and yet we were not very happy. We are going to try oasis next summer. We r hoping for a great experience. I am not loving the fact that you can't enjoy the ocean much.

  3. I do agree with many of your opinions. I love carnivals dream class ships. I have been only on freedom of seas royal carribran and paid twice that of carnival. But it wasn't twice as great. We are going on the oasis next summer. We will miss the chocolates and pillow animals every night along with the 24 hour ice cream. Lol

  4. I am a little confused. ATD on carnival is you just show up any time between 5:45-9:30.

How does it work on Oasis? Do I have to make a reservation for each night. The whole reason we like ATD is so we don't have to be on a set schedule. Please explain. Thank you

  5. It stinks because u watch and see they will have a law enforcement discount after my final payment date. I love how carnival gives you credit if u book early saver all the way up to 2 days before sail.

  6. We love carnival dream class. We have been on the dream once and the Breeze twice.

We sailed freedom of the seas royal once too. We paid a lot more and we were not a lot happier. The entertainment is better in royal and the ships are more elegant but the new carnival ship are not crazy in style any longer. We found the food better on carnival and cabins are nicer. We are going on oasis next year. But I would easily go on carnival again being it is so much cheaper but yet many benifits

  7. I have sailed on royal and carnival. Over the last 3 years we sailed carnival Dream and breeze twice. We had a great time on both ships. About 5 years ago we sailed Freedom of the seas royal. We had a bad experience from food to staff. My husband asked for just a house salad on royal and they looked at him like he had 3 heads. They said we cNt do that, it's not on the menu. Really a plain salad. We paid almost twice the rate as carnival and yet we were so I satisfied. Well next June we are booked for the oasis. For the amount we are paying we are hoping for a great experience. We love carnivals newer ships.
