Surely you know that there must be many others who do not report...this poster just said it out loud. A friend of mine just told me her sister had it onboard and didn't report it. It may be more common not to report than we imagine.
I guess at this point in time there are different ways to look at it. The strain out there is mostly Omicron which manifests itself as a bad cold...so not so devastating, right? Then again, this is why there are still so many cases onboard.
I know some people who are more vulnerable due to co-morbidities or serious illnesses but I would image they may choose not to sail or at the very least double mask onboard. Personally, I wouldn't take the chance and cruise at this time.
