Hi, with the Apex leaving from Southampton, do they have kettles in staterooms please?

Thanks for all the replies, very happy that they do, always take my own Yorkshire Tea Bags for the cabin

I would certainly call. I don't think it applies to US citizens only, but I may be mistaken. We check the prices almost daily. We have a cruise booked next year (2025) with Celebrity and have repriced it twice so far. Best of Luck.

Thank you, it cant hurt to try.

Try the Nordic board but you probably will have to get to the city center or airport. Whatever you do, do book it with FULL insurance as the winds will blow any unattended car door further from their hinges than you might wish. Either yours or those who park next to you! Enjoy Iceland!

    Thank you.

    Depends on what you drink.

We don't drink any alcohol so our Elite+ unlimited free lattes/teas/chocolate plus we can collect enough canned/bottled water to get us through the next day between 5 and 7 pm is far better for us than Royals limited offer.

The same goes for the internet - 240 minutes each to use as we want works far better than Royals "24 hour blocks" .

My thoughts exactly, looking forward to our !st cruise as elite plus!

They also offered a boat option in May to help ease queues.  This arrived behind the university in the cathedral area and was about 8-10 minutes walk to the harbour area.  I believe shuttles were £5.00 each way.

    Thank you

We were on Arvia in May and the shuttle drop off point is near the Cathedral in Marseille.

    Thank you

4 of 8 Celebrity ships currently with passengers are in Green status (no COVID at all). It would be safe to assume Celebrity is taking the more conservative approach for the time being.

Discontinuation of Isolation for Travelers (Crew and Passengers)

    • To calculate the traveler’s isolation period, day 0 is their first day of symptoms or the day of their positive viral test if asymptomatic.
    • Isolation may be discontinued for symptomatic travelers with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 after 10 days from symptom onset, if they are fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and their other symptoms have improved (loss of taste and smell may persist for weeks or months after recovery and need not delay the end of isolation). Isolation may be discontinued for asymptomatic travelers with confirmed COVID-19 after 10 days from their first positive viral test.
    • Alternatively, at the cruise ship operator’s discretion, isolation may be discontinued for:
      • symptomatic travelers with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 after 5 days from symptom onset, if:
        • they are fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and their other symptoms have improved (loss of taste and smell may persist for weeks or months after recovery and need not delay the end of isolation), and
        • they have two negative antigen [12] tests collected at least 24 hours and no more than 48 hours between tests.
          • If either test result is positive, traveler should continue to isolate for a full 10 days.
          • If both test results are negative, travelers can end isolation, but must continue to properly wear a well-fitting mask when outside of cabin (indoors and outdoors) during days 6-10. During this time, these individuals must have in-cabin dining and also wear a well-fitting mask inside their cabin if any other person (e.g., a crew member) enters the cabin.
      • asymptomatic travelers with confirmed COVID-19 after 5 days from date of first positive test, if:
        • they have two negative antigen tests collected at least 24 hours and no more than 48 hours between tests.

Thank you, that is a bit more encouraging.

Celebrity would likely not call on any port that required all passengers to be tested.  It would be a logistical nightmare as well as very expensive.

Only passengers tested are those who are doing B2B and they are tested the day before the end of the cruise.

We are on the Silhouette TA calling into Bermuda, I believe they still require testing?

Hi...we are off on our cruise on Friday. Any recommendations on the various ports of call would be much appreciated. We don’t do the ‘ships’ trips. Many thanks 😀😀

We will be with you onboard, 1st Marella cruise for us, looking forward to some sunshine!
