  1. Greetings

A second vote for Park-n-Go. I've used them 5 times. Good prices and never a problem. Some prefer Park-n-Fly because it is self park not valet. Both are located just outside the port entrance.

    Good Sailing

    Tom

Agreed. But, we prefer Park N Fly because we always carry a hand gun.

  2. Right past Harbour Beach is a public beach. As eandj said, you are five minutes away.

But are not all of the beaches public? Possibly, only the ingress or egress may be a problem.

  3. Greetings

There is construction around the port entrance so just be aware that there may be changes in whatever directions you are given depending on reroutes.

From the turnpike, take I-595 east. Exit at "Port Everglades" not the airport exit. At the light, stay left. You will take a leftish turn and the lot will be on the right.

    Good Sailing

    Tom

Correct; and, if you take a right turn, then Park N Fly will be on your left, where you can park without valet parking.

  4. And may I be one to THANK you for using the loungers upstairs to sun thus saving seats for those who will actually swim!

If everyone would do this, there'd be no more chair hog threads - theres always solo many empties in the deck above the pool. :D

Swimming is difficult in this pool; while, vigorous pool walking is more efficacious.

  5. just wondering, booked in aqua class on the solstice 2015, is it possible to have the canapés changed to a cheese plate with bickies upon request.

I am not saying the canapés are not nice, but my wife and I do like a nice cheese with a glass of wine on our balcony.

I know we could take some cheeses from the buffet back to our room, but just wondering about the other

    thank you

    What are bickies?

  6. We're all entitled to our opinion and you're also entitled to value one over another. None of this changes the fact however, that he/she DID contradict him/herself AND misinform others.

I love you guys who think just cuz someone has more experience, they're obviously right - often they're not. And that has nothing whatsoever to do with opinion or the perceived value thereof.

And by the way, have you considered for even a moment that those with "vast experience" may have perhaps lost some valuable perspective along the way? It happens - and I personally am delighted when, in my own areas of expertise, a newcomer offers a fresh view on topics with which I've become all too familiar.

    Thanks

What are your areas of expertise?

  7. This may not be popular but I think this is one event that could be for purchase. With that in mind it would be nice to make this a special buffet. Champagne and outstanding food items with a limited number to participate.

Could be a lovely way to spend a late morning on a sea day.

A very fine idea. $25.00, per person with lots of bubbly woluld be geat.

  8. It could also be stolen out of the car parked at the cruise pier or anywhere else. If it were stolen he would, of course, file a police report as he is legally carrying the gun. So if a crime were committed with his gun then I don't think he'd have any problems.

We are legally carrying ours; and, I would still not take the chance.

  9. The Constellation and Millennium were our favorite ships prior to the advent of the S class. Now, we consider the M class as five stars and the S class as five and one stars. For reference, all of our prior cruieses on the M class were large balconies prior to the CC class and CC-1 thereafter. All of our S class cruises have been AQ-1.

  10. My husband carries a hand gun; he leaves it in the car when we cruise, of course. Never a problem at Park n Go.

I would not take that chance in this PC world in which we live. If it were stolen and used in a crime, then he might have considerable problems since the gun if purchased in recent years is probably registered in his name.

  11. Nora, since you have pepaid, you need not tip extra unless you receive services above and beyond. There is no need to tip the personnel who retrieve your bags placed outside your doorway. As a matter of fact, you will probably never see them. As a matter of fact, we usually always tip extra, because we believe that the mandated schedule is too low; and, we are not cheap.
