Does anybody know the daily price of a soda package when purchased on board?
-
RCCL is offering a discounted rate if I buy ahead of the cruise. But if I wait till I’m on the cruise I get a diamond discount so trying to figure out which would be better to do if anyone can tell me the normal daily price of Internet.
-
Trying to decide if it is better to buy before cruise.
-
What is the daily price?
-
Not sure it would come out the same as the machine makes it.

They had a frose machine on Navigator in May of 2019. At the bar on the pool deck, second story I believe of the Lime and Coconut. It was my absolute favorite adult slushie! I don't know if any other ships have them but I sure hope so because I'll be looking forward to finding it again in the future.
Thank you so much for letting me know about this. I will be on the navigator so I will definitely find this bar. It is my absolute favorite too and I will be drinking lots of it!

On the Norwegian ship we were on last year they had a frozen rose machine at the pool bar. It was such a refreshing way to drink wine on a cruise. Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean has these machines at any of their bars to offer this drink?
-
I remember seeing this at some point does anyone have it that they could post? Is the snack shack in the water park or can anyone go there?
-
If I remember correctly it’s one free 24 hour period? Or is there a percentage off if you wanted to get Internet for your whole cruise?
-
That link is to a 2011 thread. I'm pretty sure I have read lots of her reviews since then. It seemed like they cruised several times a year and then last year there was nothing on these boards.
-
I loved reading her reviews and got lots of good information from her trip reports.
Have not seen anything on the RCCL boards lately and she and her husband were cruising a lot.
Did she jump ship to another line or just stop blogging?

I've always wondered about the room stewards. They clean bathroom after bathroom right down the hall. How do they keep from spreading germs? Do they use gloves? Do they use disposable cloths for cleaning?
-
On boarding day I was wondering if we would have wifi? Not the ships internet but picked up from the pier.
-
Thank you so much for this info. I just registered.
-
I am on the roll call for my sailing but do I need to register some way with RCCL to be invited to the get together?
-
Thanks, I hope you enjoy your cruise too!!

Pricing has dropped so drastically on my 1/7/18 Jewel cruise out of San Juan, that I was able to upgrade to a GS from a JS last week for no charge.
Now the GS cabins are going for 900.00 LESS than I paid for the JS!
No refunds there of course. :o Win some...lose some.
Upgrading was the only thing I could do since we are way past final payment...but will enjoy the GS anyway. ;)
OP: What cruise date are you on?
Same situation for us upgraded from JS to GS when prices were slashed.
We are the week after you on 1/14 sailing.
I am shocked how low prices are out of SJU. My husband is really mad that we paid so much originally but who could have guessed that these cruises would be so heavily discounted.

They are addictive , after taking 50 cruises tried GS and now have done 5 in a row with a 6th booked, on concierge lounge , drinks are the same but they have more waiters serving drinks per person, easy to get refills
Thanks for the concierge info. Very nice that you have become a GS convert. Sounds like they are the way to go. I see hunting for good prices in my future!!

You're welcome and remember you will probably be spoiled and have to sail in a suite from now on.
My husband is very afraid of just that!!! I do the booking of cruises so he is at my mercy.
-
Thank you so much. That is the exact info I spent all morning looking for !!
I am excited for my first time in a full suite.
-
So obviously I must be a dummy. I can not figure out how to use the search feature on these boards. Also could not find this info on the RCCL website.
Was just able to upgrade to grand suite on the Jewel and was hoping someone out there could tell me what to expect as far as benefits.
Also are the drinks in the concierge lounge the same as the Diamond lounge or would you be able to get a mojito there? Are the evening cocktail hours similar to the Diamond lounge?
Thank you so much for any info you can provide!

I don't see champagne or "sparkling wine" on that list. Is that still an option?

Was wondering if the train does tours at different times during the day? where can one book it?
The RCCL train tour starts at 8:30 am and that is way too early for us.

It's Sandals Grande. Yes, a Sandals property. It's easily 35-45 minutes from port by cab, expect to pay $35usd one way, and leave plenty of time for your return, there's only one road and it can be quite busy, especially if there's more than one ship in port.
If you're mainly wanting a beach day with foid and drink, way cheaper and closer to head over Vigie Beach with the Boardwalk. Chairs available, loads of natural shade, boardwalk with restaurants and bars, restrooms, showers, etc. $10 cab ride or 25-30 walk...just down the beach from Rendezvous..
Thanks for this info. Vigie Beach sounds like it could work for us. I like the fact that it is close by the ship.
Have you received your FCC yet?

I canceled about 2 weeks ago and no sign of my FCC. Has anyone gotten theirs yet? Does it come in an email? I had booked through an online agent and they were the ones to cancel for me. Would that mean the FCC would go to them so I would need to book through them again?
