  1. I love the bigger, fresh water pools, the shorter entertainment shows with more than one each night. The MUTTS with the covered lounge chairs, popcorn and the milk & cookie cart. I love the classy look of the ship vs. gaudy. I also love that they aren't towel police. I also love the military credit and the limited children during school time.

  2. We will get into port at 7:00 am ship time. We are renting a car from Enterprise which opens at 8:00 am (not sure if it's ship time or Atlantic Standard time). We plan to drive to Peggy's Cove, stop for lobster at Ryder's Lobster Pound and want to see the Titanic graves in Fairview Cemetary.

Questions, is Halifax and the ship on the same time or not. Secondly, should we drive to Peggy's Cove first to miss the tour busses or do we have time to do the Fairview Cemetary first and then Peggy's Cove? Should we wait to get the rental car later and have the chance to sleep in? When does Peggy's Cove get crowded?

  3. We are trying Royal Caribbean for the first time. Princess and Carnival have a "not so newly wed game". Our DS will be getting married on our RC cruise in June on the 4th day. Does anyone know if they play this game on RC and if so, what night? I'm hoping they get picked as the newly wed couple.

Also, are the pools on FOS saltwater or fresh water and are they cold?

Do the safes in the room use a code like Princess or a credit card like Carnival?
  4. We had booked the landsailing in Bonaire, but it was cancelled due to a death in the family of the owners.

So we found a taxi service and used Ayubi's Tours and Taxi Service at the dock. This man was so entertaining and so reasonable that I could not recommend him more. His van was clean and he took such pride in the island. For $25 he took us to see the flamingo's and the 1000 steps and a few other locations. He sang and entertained the entire time. He can be reached at taxi7_farid@yahoo.com

  5. We've sailed on Princess twice because of the open seating so I'm really excited that Carnival is trying it. Do you know how long this trial period is expected to last? When we booked the Legend, our travel agent didn't give us the option of open seating so we took early seating. Will they offer it later or once we board?

The only thing missing from this ship that I'm going to miss is the big movie screen by the pool area. Loved, loved, loved that!
