N Statendam ..30th November 2024 ..7 day Western Caribbean ...Archipelago ...please add ..Thank You ! 

My last trip on the Shadow I had a seafood chowder. I was sick on my stomach and nauseated within 40 minutes from food poisoning. I felt okay once I got rid of that tainted chowder . First time I've ever gotten sick on a cruise ship's food . No more seafood or fish for me 

Okay got 2 cruises and Club Orange for both !!! And one Elite Bev and one Signature Bev ..which will be plenty for me ! HAL here I come !!! 😁Thank You all for your advice !!!! This is an example of the good people I will meet on my voyages !!! 👍

Can Club Orange be booked online after booking the voyage ?

Okay thanks ..I have learned something for the future . I'm Caregiving / Caretaking my 96 yo mother and anything could come up ..she will be 98 by the time of this voyage

I purchased it in advance from the website because when I was dealing with a TA she said I had to purchase in a few days from booking or I couldn't get it . I let her go( TA) for some other reasons and booked direct. 

I have purchased the HAL protection travel plan . Will I be sent a policy ? I have the confirmation but not sure how it works . It is quite a ways from my voyage .  Anyone else had experience with the HAL insurance ? Thank You !

The showers not private but there are separate areas to change and shower for men and women aren't there ? 

Thanks ..this is an Antarctic cruise and I think I may also enjoy it .

It is Oosterdam and the website says limited availability . 

Has anyone booked the thermal spa on any of the ships ? I am thinking about it on a 22 day voyage . Thoughts ? Experiences ?

Are there any solo events on HAL ? 20 years ago I remember only one and the other three people knew each other so I never stayed . I met a lot of great people though from here and had a great time and great table mates . Loved the cruise and looking forward to going again !

In my recent experience they contacted me with the driver's name and contact . He never showed up and I missed the voyage . Silversea D2D luxury became " Down the Drain with Blacklane " . I'm getting reimbursed for incidentals but the chauffeur not showing up was not a "covered" reason to collect anything on my policy . I will always book cancel for any reason now . Live and Learn .The driver and Blacklane partner were terminated btw.

A question for Mary ...when you mentioned that the Santiago hotel served breakfast and had the room ready the day of arrival was that a HAL hotel or any hotel in Santiago ? It's a long way away so not sure if I will book HAL hotel or my own ...have been doing my own on my latest travels. Thank You

I called about Club Orange today and the HAL  cruise consultant said I would need to book the cruise first to see if it was available . My main interest is the priority embarkation and disembarkation that comes with it . I am not sure why they don't know the status of that before booking ...I would hate to book and then cancel ...

This was years ago . I was just going to get a hotel independent...the package was a long time ago.

I just looked it is a Friday that the ship departs .I would probably just get the private transfer ...do you get an embarkation time on your booking ? I got the HAL package before so don't remember when we went.
