    MSC plays by their own rules, i would give it a try. One thing i can say they've gotten much better at answering the phones at least.

    OP here, just FYI, I called MSC to cancel my trip at day 91 out, they cancelled my trip no questions asked. I was a bit surprised. Now just waiting to see refund on CC to be sure.

    This is true and I actually find that politely asking works most of the time, it's very discretionary.

    Using pub trans, I see there is a NYC MTA bus that stops some blocks from Brooklyn cruise term, and that's as close as you can get. Is it a reasonable walk from bus stop, safety and distance? If not, is there a very active Uber community there? Thanks

    That's a gotcha! If I booked a cheaper cruise could I add extras, drink package, excursions to bring up the price equal to the one I'm cancelling? Or even book two cruises to equal the one I'm cancelling.

    Does MSC have any gotchas with this deal? Can you change after final payment? Different intinerary or ship?

    You're correct. I've just been used to MSC providing either still or gas, as the waiters say.

    yeah, that's what i was looking for and i don't have it. I can try and call MSC but we know what that is like, ugh. thanks for your effort. My contract states "Fantastica, choice of cabin plus additional benefits"

    Thats great news to hear, I am Fantastica. My previous MSC cruises i did just as you say, i had stock of water. It used to be printed on contract, water included, this contract has no mention of water

    Thanks, They used to include bottled water in dining rooms but i didn't see it on my recent contract.

    Sailing on meraviglia in the fall from Brooklyn. I've sailed with MSC before and there was always a para about water. Available during lunch and dinner only in dining room, no charge. My latest invoice has no such wording. Has there been a change. Thanks

    So looks like I fly into YVR. From airport to cruise port what public trans is avail. Only mention of shuttle to city center and then?
