Re the 700 I don't know what exactly was to be done, I booked a cruise in stated time period.
Re 100 pts, I called on Sat, spoke with CS rep who told me to call on Monday, I'll be off cruising then. Thanks

The T&C for the 700 bonus points says will be applied a few days before your sailing. Check then.
Sailing on Monday, nothing yet.
Thank you

Hi,
I'm already an established voyagers club member and just rec'd an email that if you update you personal email you will receive 100 bons points. I followed the link and it just brings you to MSC log in page, we know how terrible their IT is and there was no specific link to update and receive bonus, though i did update anyway. Anyone else see/get the same email?
While on topic, there is a 700 bonus points winter booking, i did a winter booking (not sailed yet)and anyway to make sure we get these points too?
thanks

Do you probably have the chance of status match to gold or diamond

OP here, final docs just came up on MSC site. It's clear now there is type cabin and experience. Just wondering if the Aurea type cabin still gets robe/slippers and diffuser, as that is what cabin steward knows about the cabin.
- Type: Deluxe Balcony Aurea ( Module 17 sqm - Balcony 5 sqm - Decks 9-15 )
- Experience: Bella Experience Benefits

Yes. We almost always use a TA so someone else has to do the headache part. 🙂
There are plenty of TA's complaining about MSC too, lol

Yes but if you got upgraded it will show on your booking if your experience changed. Do you have a TA? They will be able to help.
Trying to get my booking now thru MSC website, they're awful, and booked direct thru MSC, you know what their CS is like.

Go to your booking under cabin information it will tell you what experience you got.
My initial booking says Bella and that is what i paid for but that was before cabin was assigned

You would do better to ask who has been on a cruise recently with that category and what all did they get.
That's why i'm on this page

Except that says 1 thing and on the cruise doing a booking it doesn't include all that. It's confusing and I understand why they are asking.
Yes, you understand, looking for someone who might have same experience and has factual answer. thanks

Thanks for your response, but i didn't pay for aurea experience just assigned the aurea cabin. I wanted to know if cabin assignment includes experience (and was this a possible free upgrade).

Hi, Im booked on inaugural Seascape cruise. I booked and paid for a Bella level Balcony cabin, I was assigned an Aurea delux balcony. Can anyone tell me if that is an upgrade of some type? if so, what can i expect? Thanks

Agreed! In September on the Getaway, we found outdoor day beds on the Haven sundeck. My husband was working on one half, I was trying to enjoy the view from the other half (I don't work on vacation anymore). It was never comfortable, partly because we were in public, but also because you truly have to be laying down with pillows (not provided) to be comfy on the day beds.
I'd much prefer sofas, chairs, perhaps some sort of reclining chair or ottoman, but no day beds please.
Hey Birdtravels, take some pics please, maybe we start making a rogues gallery and shame these people a bit.

Looking at the photos of the observation lounge I thought the same thing. People are going to camp out on the daybeds and take naps. I really don’t see how anyone would want to lay down in a public space and nap.
Looks fantastic, gonna be like the pool, people putting their books there to hold a spot all day.

The Observation Lounge provides beautiful forward facing views on comfy sofas, and day beds.
Until the slobs get there and put stinka---s feet up and drool all over while taking up the whole space.
Thanks for review.

Yes, I would go in this one if I hadn’t traveled every month for the last 7 months. I’m on a flight right now to NorCal to visit my sister.
I also like the repositioning one Manhattan to New Orleans….I think is also NCL
This is a fun cruise, pax from one 24 hour party city to another and if Alabama (Roll Tide) is playing adds more party flavor

The package addons. The stateroom sizes appear identical except for a larger lavatory.
https://www.freestyletravelers.com/blog/club-balcony-suiteNo big deal, I'm an average sized adult male, solo travel, don't need 2 sinks nor larger shower.
Thanks for link

It looks to be what NCL calls a club balcony suite. What's the diff between club balc and regular balc?

Find a TA you can trust, it really matters. Plus, you can make a fake booking online (NCL or 3rd party), just to proceed to the final page and pay, find the ship name and cabin number, and come here and ask. Most people are happy to help. There is also a site with ship deck plans (I don't think I can list it here) where if you pay a small membership fee, you can see actual pictures of cabins based on category.
Depending on the ship, I have some suite pictures from cabin tours I did with CC groups on prior sailings. They are all older ships, but can give some ideas. My email is annjunk at sbcglobal dot net if you want to see any.
I would think it's the lowest grade suite, using the price point as a come on.
Thanks I'll keep u posted

You probably would need to inquire with that specific agency. The above wording doesn't provide very much information.
So many diff suite cat I'm scared to get a rookie t/a and they just say anything for a sale.
Someone reading here will know exactly who and what they mean(I.s., o.v., balc., brochure suite)Thanks

One of online agencies advertises brochure suite as the top of it's 4 diff offerings. What exactly is that and does it include spa or haven amenities? Thanks
Still confused about "Free At Sea" open bar inclusion, if there are additional tax or gratuities on top the drinks I order?

Can a person decline the Open Bar package or is it all or none?
