  1. My husband and I sailed on her Dec 1987 on our honeymoon. 8 day western Caribbean out of Miami. Had an absolute ball, thought the ship was huge.

I remember there wasn’t any real storage in our room, so we kept our clothes in our suitcases under the bed. That poor steward made the tiny room up as two singles during the day so we had some room to move around. Then pushed the beds together at night. Which also meant he had to push our suitcases around too.

The dining room was fabulous, we were both blown away by the food and service.

I remember each night after dinner and the show, everyone went on deck and strolled around.

    Fun times.

Can you check if the mocktails included in the unlimited sodas and more package only includes the ones on the official list, or if it includes any mixed cocktail without the alcohol? I’ve read in some other forums that you can’t get things like a virgin pina colada or the virgin dirty banana because it’s not on the official mocktails list, but that depends on the ship you’re on. Thank you! (We set sail on April 13, right after you disembark...so excited to see your posts!)

When we were on the Royal in the fall I was able to order the virgin Dirty Banana, I wasn’t aware there was an official list and ordered several different things, can’t remember now which ones except for the Dirty Banana, no one questioned my order.

However on the Crown last month at Outriggers the bartender did steer me to the official menu and since I really don’t care I just ordered something off there, I think the Key West Cooler. However, that was the only bar I ran into this situation, all the others gave me what I asked for without question.

  3. My sailing on the Caribbean Princess still has Antigua listed, but I followed the above link to St Martin, and it now lists Caribbean Princess on the same day as our Antigua day.  Very interesting.

  4. I agree with you, I have never sailed on any of the ships and were most interested in the comparisons. If the kids are happy and entertained (able to swim) then the adults will be happy too. All the adult amenities in the world mean nothing if the kids are moping.

  5. On our families first cruise my daughter became nauseous as soon as we pulled away from the dock. I had brought seabands because I wasn't interested in giving the kids meds if I could avoid it. So I dug them out of my suitcase and had really thought this was a long shot. However much to my delight, they worked and 20 minutes later she was as right as rain. No drugs or side effects from them. We've used them ever since.
