Looks like so far Constellation has been using terminal 4 the last few weeks. I used that once and had a easy time. However, it was another cruise line and a few years back.
I am also getting off the same day of Eclipse at the infamous terminal 24 which is really bad (at least my 2 past experiences).
Have a good cruise.

Welcome Home Andy,
Like many of us on also have experienced a horrible time 2 years ago on the Constellation at this same terminal and vowed to do things better. Seems like the issue has not improved. I am on the Eclipse in Feb and feel that self debark may be the way to go to make this less of a hassle. Any tips on self debark at this location?

It happened to me on my recent B2B. I was going from classic to select.
I did not ask during the first cruise but when a friend who was sailing with me mentioned I should get Select now on the second week, I went to the hostess on day 2 of the second week and they changed out the card and gave me the coupons, etc. Setting it up the first week would have been better though....
Enjoy!

Thank you this does make things clearer for me to understand. Though, I know it may change.

Gambee,
So glad to be reading your review thus far. Though you just started I really could feel the energy & happiness you had. Now I am sad based on your last post about your beloved Milo. I have put down a few cat's and dog's and it always feels like a piece of my heart is gone. I totally understand your feelings and send you warm thoughts.

Just a little update, I had to cancel my Breeze cruise. But hope to out on the ocean soon enough :).
Gambee sorry you had to cancel your Cruise. Really stinks to cancel a cruise. I think you would have enjoyed the
Breeze. Like you said you'll be back on the sea again.

Well Mr. Gambee another great review. I want to thank you for taking the time out of your cruise and your normal life to share your experiences with all of us. I understand it is a hobby of yours but sometimes hobbies can become work. The level of detail you provide tells me you must be spending a lot of time away from family and friends to keep us entertained -- Thanks!
I am still not sure about NCL as a cruise vacation but you have opened my eyes toward Bermuda and I am interested in the 3 night stay over there. Seems like the best of both worlds.
You have mentioned the Quantum? Will that do summer runs from NYC?
Looking forward to your next adventure.

Great videos! It pulls the review together as we can see how the ship relates to your photos. Though not a replacement for your great photo's it was a nice addition.

That is actually a really good topic. At first I was really hesitant about that Ittinerary, but let me tell you something 3 days are not enough for Bermuda. There is so much to do there!
You can come in and out from the **** at any time you like, it simply works like a hotel while you're there.
I remember telling my mom that I can see how people come year after year to Bermuda. That said I also miss the ship movement every night, I guess it has good things and bad.
I am really looking forward to going back to Bermuda aboard Quantum! Can't wait :)
Interesting. This situation has always intrigued me and being so close to NYC it would be easy to grab one of the ships that does this type of itinerary. I just have not been sure if it is for me. Your review has opened my mind to the possibilities.
PS: The Quantum does look cool!!

Gambee,
Wonderful pictures as always. The one's at the port with the endless blue are amazing. I am so glad the weather was better for you and Mom after the bummer of the X trip.
I really loved Bermuda when I was there on 12 hour port of call with Princess. It is so different than the Caribbean ports. I would love to hear your thoughts on what the Pro's and Con's are of sailing to Bermuda and just docking there for 3 days vs. island hopping (like in the Carib).
Do you have to be back on the ship at any time at night or are you free to come and go as you please?
Bill
PS: Good to see your pulling back the curtain with some self Gambee pics.

Gambee,Love this picture! It was like you superimposed yourself on the back drop to add to the mystery of Gambee. Perhaps someday we will see you. (like Charlie from Charlie's Angels). It also is so appropriate that it is the photo gallery. Planned or by accident, I think it is neat.
1 question since I have not sailed NCL prior to free style. Are the MDR's open seating (come when you want) or the traditional assigned seating's with early & late?
Love the review so far. Keep it up, we thank you for your efforts. Have a fun day at work

Gambee,
Off to another stellar start. I sit with my wine and read and view all the great pictures.
If you are ever in the Boston area I can teach you how to sail. However, being that you live in FLA I am sure you wont have to go far to find a school. :D It is great freedom to be on your own boat and in control.

Gambee,
Have been looking forward to this review since you posted your X review.
Welcome back from your cruise. I hope you had a blast!! Can't wait to experience it in your review.

That photo is amazing! I love the red in the horizon and the "life" of the city at night. Such contrast
I am glad you will take some shots of your pre-cruise area but don't want you to feel you have to do a tour of NYC, this is your vacation after all.
We all have seen what you can do with your cameras, having some "beauty" shots of time sq and the city will be wonderful.

Sorry Gambee one last question. Since you are sailing on Breakaway, planning to do any pre-cruise nights in NYC? Would love to see how you would capture all that it is from behind your camera.
NYC is close to where I live and one of favorites. Such a fun port to sail from. You will have fun sailing down the Hudson, Statue of Liberty and going under the Verrazano bridge.

Gambee,
Allow me to add another voice in the chorus of thanks. I can't imagine the time and energy it takes to put a review together like this. It was a joy to read as I am sure it was a pleasure for you to compile.
Thanks again and I look forward to your Breakaway review. I am not a big NCL fan based on my 1 and only cruise with them. Maybe your experience and review will make me take another look. The ship does look compelling.
Have fun!

GOD you made me hungry with that great review of Murano. Can you order multiple items or is it just 1 from each section? I have only ever eaten in QSINE, which is a totally different experience as you know.
Sorry to hear that the FLL debarkation is screwed up still. Took me 2 hours last year getting off the Constellation. Just a mess! For everything that Celebrity does well, this really is a bad way to end the vacation.
OK - have to go eat. :p

Update,
I selected all the pics for the last day yesterday and edited them. I will start writing today and posting tomorrow. I plan on fishing day 7 tomorrow and possibly moving into day 8 (short) and comparisons between X and RCCL.
This has been an exciting process, I am a bit sad that it is coming to and end =(.
NO, the end is near!! It is like seeing the luggage in the hallway on the last night feeling.

Gambee,
The review continues to rock! I am sorry that the weather was a bummer, hope it got better as you sailed.
If not a FB page, maybe a blog? You are very talented and have a passion for photo's and capturing the moments. Either way, thanks again for letting us travel along.

Glad your having a good time, thanks for taking us along.
Had Lisa Richards as CD in Feb on the Summit! Boy she get's around, but she did a good job with entertainment.
Enjoy the MO Bar (molecular).

Chris,
Thanks for your live review. Between you and Gambee I feel like I am on a cruise (thanks for taking us along). Love the Hyatt 66, stay there all the time when I am in FLL.
Look forward to the journey!!

All these drink pictures are making me thirsty. May have to go have a drink. LOL That is why I love the Premium package, it allows you the freedom to try it all.
I was so pumped by your sail away vid, it was one of the best I have ever seen.
Thank you for taking the time to be so generous with your time and sharing all of these wonderful memories.

Great start so far! Love the details and spreadsheets (had some fun playing with it).

CELEBRITY vs CCL a Review of our 1st X Cruise
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
I have not sailed CCL for over 5 years (so can't really speak to the latest changes)but on my last CCL cruise I was wanting to try something different. I am so glad friends introduced me to Celebrity. While I had great memories and experiences on CCL in my 20's & 30's, Celebrity has been a nice step up.
Though I would not rule out a trip back on CCL if the conditions were right.
