I loved Abe on the Anthem he was awesome and loved his late night early morning show. Would love to see him on my November Anthem cruise

Abe told us on the HOTS 12/24 cruise that he would be on the Harmony until the next new ship comes out.

Had Abe on the Anthem 12/15 and on the Harmony 12/16. He is the best, and as good on the Harmony as he was on the Anthem. Love the Late Night Early Morning Show!

We loved the Harmony and are booked on the Allure. However, there was just something about the Anthem that was warmer and more inviting. To us, the Esplanade on the Anthem was pretty much the same as the Royal Promenade on the Harmony, just a little smaller.

Was on the 12/24 cruise. If I remember correctly 2.4 times around = 1 mile.

Did you read any of the threads about survey? Apparently the food rating reflects on the waiter(s) and your 6 would count against their service.
I was not aware of that. However, I rated the service at 10 and put in the comments the name of the servers and that they were excellent.

We just got back from the Harmony 12/24 cruise. We were on the Anthem twice this year, and found the food on the Anthem to be very good. With the exception of two or three items on there Harmony, the quality of the food has really slipped. I don't know if this is fleet wide or if for some reason they put better quality food on the Anthem. I would think the food quality is standard throughout the fleet. I think we rated the food a 6 on the survey. This is no reflection of the excellent service we had. Food in the Windjammer was often cold and some looked like it had been sitting there for hours. I am used to cruising the way it used to be and therefore just have this thing against the uncharge restaurants. However, we ate at 150 Central Park one night and it was truly a memorable meal (food, atmosphere and service). I felt Chops when we tried it on the Anthem was a beautiful setting but the food nothing that special. However, we still all enjoyed the Harmony and are already booked on the Allure for 2017 holiday. The pros on RCCL ships outweigh the cons in the food department, but I think RCCL can certainly upgrade the food without increasing costs too much.

Just got back from the Harmony 12/24 cruise. We were forward on Deck 3 and muster station was in Jazz on 4.

I have a full set from the December 27, 2015 New Year's Cruise. I am technologically challenged so do not know how too upload, but I can scan and email a few to you if you give me your email addresses.

We are also on this cruise and having a wonderful time. Have been on the Anthem twice and on that ship and the Harmony feel that there is a lack of late night food available for a snack. The Windjammer should be open late night for some light food. Cafe Promenade is open, but they don't change the nightly offerings which are few anyway. Food in general not as good as on our two cruises on the Anthem earlier this year. In any event, having a wonderful time and would come back in a second!

On the Harmony now. Very exciting sail away from St. Maarten. The two sisters blew their whistles back and forth several times at each other and a lot of cheering!
-
On Harmony now. Abe Hughes is CD and Johnny Faevelen is Captain.

I am far from a techhie and have a question. Does Voom give you cell phone service? I am with Verizon Wireless and they said the do not have a plan to give me cell service onboard. I know I've gotten cell service before, so what do I do? Leaving on HOTS on Saturday so need to know soon. Thanks and happy holidays!

We had it on the 12/27/15 cruise in 270 but not on the 6/25/16 cruise. I was very disappointed. I figured they did not have it because it was only a 5 day cruise, but I see above that it also was not on a recent 9 day cruise. I hope they bring it back.

We were on the 5 night 6/25 sailing with Classic Dynamic. We like having the same servers and same table each night. Also, no lines when the Dynamic Dining lines looked very long. Our rotation was:
Night 1: Chic
Night 2: The Grande
Night 3: Silk (didn't go; ate in Bermuda)
Night 4: American Icon
Night 5: Chic.
We are not always easy to please but were very pleased with the food and service (table 108).

Anyone besides me wonder why the area around the anchor opening on the Majesty is always rusty? Every time I see the ship on portnassauwebcam.com it needs a good paint job.
-
In December on the Anthem it was in the Seaplex, which I thought was a great location with the balcony above for viewing. In June we had it in 270 but we did not go. Did;t think that venue would be as good.
-
We were on the June 25 5 day Bermuda and only had a few hours of rocking the first night. After that could not even tell we were moving, even on the last day when it rained all day.

YAY YAY YAY!!!! Thanks so much!
What happened to Abe?

Wonder why Captain Anders I. went from the Anthem to the Majesty. Seems it is a demotion to go from one of the most modern ships in the fleet to the oldest doing only the 3 and 4 day Bahamas.

We are cruising on the Anthem to Bermuda 6/25. The excursion through the ship to Horseshoe Bay does not leave until Noon. Can we go on our own? How would we get there? Any issues getting onto the beach if we go on our own? Thanks!

Going on the Anthem this summer for our 25th! Doing a special dinner in Bermuda one night. Happy Anniversary!

We are booked on the Harmony from Florida and need air from EWR or LGA to FLL. I was surprised when I found out from RCCL that we would have to pay air now, when we make the reservation, and it was nonrefundable. I thought we would pay the air when we pay for the cruise, so there would be no penalty if cancelling before final payment.
Does anyone have any ideas? I don't want to be stuck paying for air tickets if we have to cancel the cruise.
Thanks!
