If they have the Coffee and Cones on the Golden, they will have fresh brewed coffee. Also, I've seen brewed coffee in the casinos onboard as well. Since a lot of people don't tend to drink coffee in the casino around the clock, not sure how fresh it would be.
On Caribbean Princess in February, Coffee and Cones had only the specialty coffee drinks, not plain brewed coffee. As we were on the Lido deck, this was a big disappointment.

I went on Star Princess in 2008 on a 16 day Antarctica "drive by" cruise, and we spent four days cruising the Antarctic Peninsula. It was the most amazing out of this world cruise, even without landings, and stands out far above any of the over 60 cruises we have done. A trip with landings would obviously be even better, but if you get a chance to go at all, even without landings, it will be the trip of a lifetime!

When is the next 3 for Free? I've got 1 booked with no OBC (quick getaway to Cabo) and 1 where I've got 200 OBC (not counting shareholder/ loyalty which carries over) + meal (not an incentive for a vegetarian). Would lose under current Promo but might save with that 1.
As I recall, the 3 for Free usually begins in September.

Cannot remember which was first night, but on various nights bottle of champagne, chocolates, a very nice pen, chocolate covered strawberries, various other hor d'oeuvres. I feel like there might have been more, but neither DH or I remember what they were.

I wear hearing aids. I had no issues with medallion on our recent Caribbean Princess cruise.

I get this also, cannot even look for any new cruises, get the same thing.

Just off Caribbean Princess, and there was one, along with the small round table, in accessible inside cabin L248. I would imagine C312 would be the same.

That’s really good to know, if I get itchy feet and want to get to the shop earlier $36 is nothing.

I have to correct what I wrote. We ubered to our hotel (Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Airport/cruiseport, but still the uber to the port would be the same or just a few dollars more. Sorry for the confusion.

Though you did not ask this, it might be useful to you. Yesterday morning we arrived at Miami International Airport. We took uber to Port Everglades, and the cost was only $36, much less than princess transfers and much easier, and the time we left was when we chose it to be.

Going back to where to get them at the cheapest price, loose fitting thin plastic gloves are at the dollar and 99cents stores for a dollar for a pack of 100.

Personally, I just found the process of transfer so much more cumbersome. I think they are trying to discourage the use of travel agents and are trying to pump up direct bookings. Just two days ago, even though I had no money on a cruise, but had a hold on it, they would not transfer to my agent without sending me a Transfer Form to sign and send to the agent. I knew they had toughened up the procedure if you already had a deposit, but did not know there was a hurdle if you held it directly with them with a day or two "hold," called your agent and giving the agent your booking number asked agent to put down your "futures" as deposit. And if you are thinking why not cancel and have agent rebook, the price had gone up in a day.

October/November on Ruby, our internet minutes rolled over.
-
Usually 9:00 AM Pacific time is the starting for any sale, but you can check it earlier just in case.

Just off three weeks on Ruby. If you have been on more than just a few Princess cruises, you will have seen all the (same. old) production shows before. since we had seen all of them many times, we only went to the Princess Theater one night, and that was for a wonderful singer who left the ship after week one. There was a comic and a magician, neither of which interest us. Although Ruby now has installed On Demand on their TVs, the movie selections are inferior in quality (and quantity too) to Regal and Royal.
That being said, the current cruise director did a great job with activities. There were many more than there are on many Princess cruises the past couple of years. sorry I did not save any the Patters. I never do.
So I found enter

So is the installation of the on demand tv system complete for the entire ship now? (Ruby)
I do not know that for sure, but everyone I talked to during week three had it installed.
-
Just off three weeks on Ruby, and beginning of week two (inside cabin), they installed the On Demand Movies. However, the selections are not at all as desirable as on Royal and Regal, not sure why.

We just got off three weeks on Ruby, and we had no complaints about the food. We found the entrees we had to be good to excellent. The salmon, which we had several times, was better than on almost all of our previous cruises. The sea bassa served the first night of each week was excellent. We have 40 cruises on Princess, and found the food on this one to certainly be in the upper half of those cruises.
We do not typically eat at the specialty restaurants, but we did eat at Crown Grill one time, and the food was definitely excellent. We had eaten there (not sure which ship) several years ago, and found the quality much more disappointing then.

On Ruby now for the third week of a B2B2B and believe it or not, you need a new coffee (electronic) card each week. There is no carry over as there has previously been with B2B where for coffee card purposes B2B was considered one cruise. This is a real takeway! The price of the "card" is still around $37, even for one week, and for us as elites, we needed to trade in three bar setups for coffee coverage for the three one week consecutive cruises on the same ship.
I know there have been loads of threads on the new coffee card system, but this takeaway regarding B2B is the most unacceptable feature of the change. I hope that a lot of people will contact Princess to tell them how unfair this change is.

Thanks to everyone who gave useful feedback to my actual question!

We do not usually eat at specialty restaurants when we are cruising, but our booking includes one. What gratuity is it customary to leave ? Thanks for any replies.
-
I am wondering if the new system makes it necessary each leg of a back to back cruise to choose the coffee "card" option? Normally on a B2B, I do this this one cruise, and bar setup the other cruise. To make things a bit more complicated, I am going B2B2B where leg one is one cabin and the other two are another cabin.
Thanks for any clarification. If this has been cleared up before, sorry that I missed it.

We did club class on Coral, 15 days in November, and never waited even one minute.
-
Don't they use Sabatini's at lunch for Alfredo's?
they did this quite a few days on our recent Coral full transit.
-
It's now almost 3:30 PM in California, not 8:00 AM, and though the itineraries show for elites, they have no pricing yet and cannot be booked! Has it worked differently for anyone else?

I believe you can cancel (any such contract) within the first 24 hours, so call first thing in the morning.
