We wipe down our cabin with the Clorox wipes as soon as we enter also.
The way I see it, if the previous passenger was at all sick, they vacate the cabin by 8:00am and we are in the same cabin by 1:00pm or earlier, that junk is still on everything!
When I eat at the Horizon court, once I select my food, I go to the ladies room and wash my hand thoroughly! I'de rather have cold food than filthy hands.
I, also, wipe down the cabin with Clorox wipes. I also buy a pack of disposable thin plastic gloves (100 for a dollar at a dollar or 99 cents store), and take a bunch on every cruise. I wear one on my right hand when I go through the buffet line. Of course, I take it off, reversing it as I do, when I get to my table, and throw it away.

So you sit in your interior cabin and watch the action on the ship's cam?
ooooh, a bit nasty, no, obviously go to the front of the ship for most of the canal, as I did on my two Panama Canal cruises. I did not say never go outside; I said I had never thought of the balcony doors letting insects in when they open.
-
I had not even considered the insect aspect, but with all the worry about the mosquitos who carry the zika virus (and they bite during the day hours), that is an excellent reason for not having a balcony

I cannot get it to work at all using google chrome, but it does work in internet explorer, a real inconvenience.

a disaster. It does not work for me at all with google chrome, i have to go to explorer to get a workable page.

I wonder if no obc can be used in casino now.Anyone try it recently? Is it just shareholders obc or fcc and Princess promotions also?
the language about not being allowed to use onboard credit for casino appears in all Princess promotions now also.
-
the latest website "enhancements" have caused several glitches. I always wonder, if it's not broken, why fix it (and cause a mess of new problems).
-
I understand your predicament we are usually in that position thankfully
spend what you want to spend but during the cruise go to the casino and open an account on a slot machine. Follow the prompts and put something from your on board account on to your casino account say $40 Make a small bet and then cash out.
Take your card later to the casino desk and ask to cash out whatever amount you like. This way if you have unused obc you can have it in cash
Usually no cashier takes any notice Only once has the lady said "you have been lucky" to which I replied yes but not often!!!
Enjoy your cruise and your spare cash when you get home:D
We have always used our onboard credit in the casino, as you suggest. But Princess has a new policy and emphatically states in writing that onboard credit may not be used in the casino. this even appears in the shareholder credit information and the military credit information. It also appears in the conditions of every cruise booked now.

In answer to the OP, I believe 1-800-872-6779, ext. 30317 is still the number to call. When they look up the one where you did get credit (so they know you are a current stockholder) they will apply it to the others. Then once it is applied, print from the payments and credits section of each cruise in your personalizer and take them all with you.

I am looking for a whale watching tour that does NOT include snorkeling or swimming appropriate for older seniors. Does anyone have any recommendations? We will be in La Paz on a Friday in March.
-
Actually it is discretionary, in that it can be given as a "good will credit". My TA talked to three different people at Princess earlier this year when I took advantage of an upsell offer, and her stance was that it was not a free upgrade; I was paying for it. The third person agreed with her and issued the difference that the FCDs would have given us for a balcony as a "good will credit".

You do not pay for tea or coffee if you have a coffee card. But considering you had to pay about $33 for that card...not sure we would call the coffee/tea free.
Hank
Well for us it is. We often change our elite bar setup for two coffee cards. But back a few years, before we were elite, we always bought one.
-
some more tips for Regal:
Regal has a gelato (sp?) shop and one punch of the coffee card is good for a three scoop gelato with toppings.
Also don't miss Alfredo's for fantastic gourmet pizza and pasta. No charge at Alfredo's.
Be sure to check out the Sea View Bar and the Sea Walk on the Lido deck, also, after dark, the dancing colored water show (or whatever they call it).
Regal is my favorite ship, and I am sure you will enjoy your cruise.
-
I have always been able to get tea free in the I.C. area just by showing my coffee card. I sometimes get tea for me and coffee for DH just by showing the one coffee card. Tea does not get a punch.
-
I agree totally. wonder what genius thought a kiddie soda sale was an inducement to sail.
-
We thought the production shows on Regal were the best of our 40+ cruises when we did three B2B2B weeks on Regal. In fact, we went to shows all three times, we enjoyed them so much.
-
Add the insurance at the time you book the cruise to avoid pre-existing conditions exclusion. You do not pay for the insurance until final payment date, and if you cancel before final payment, you incur NO insurance premium cost.

Italian night is tonight. So it's the day were docked in St. Thomas

Thank you!!!

If you don't get a response to your questions, you just need to call the DINE (reservation) line when you board. Ask them which night will be Italian night and make your reservation for the Crown Grill. We do this all the time to avoid formal night :D.
Thank you for this useful information also.
-
I will definitely try to find what night is Italian night for you

thank you so much,

thanks so much for your very informative "Live". I will be on Regal from the 29th of this month and the first week is eastern caribbean, just like your current week. If there is an Italian night (a menu we never care for and most of which DH cannot have), we will go to Crown Grill that night. It would be very helpful if you could tell me what night Italian night is, so that as soon as we get on the ship we can make our reservations for Crown Grill for the right night.
Thanks
Ellie

I would love to trade in our elite bar set up for onboard credit. We have sometimes done it for the two coffee cards, but onboard credit would be so much nicer.
-
The Princess insurance is not age banded, and is approximately 8% of the total fare. I suggest that the OP do a "dummy booking" through the insurance step (then abort it) and see what the insurance price would be.

We had an interior cabin that shared a wall with the laundromat and found it very quiet.
