Thanks for the response. Love CC because you can get the facts!

With the Premium package can you get the fresh squeezed OJ?
Can you use it in Vintages for the wine flights?
Is there a list of house wines menu available?
-
Did you have trouble using your Premium drink package in any other venues? Did you try to use it in Vintages? Wondering about it being cost effective for us and hassel free. I hate to purchase it, thinking I have $12 on wine and $8 on drinks - just to have to argue with the bar staff.

VMT - please join our roll call. We are planning a Meet & Greet.... See ya in 77 days!

You WOW me with all the compasses... thanks.

cb at sea... thank you for answering my question..... so they don't use the syrup coffee - great to know cause the syrup coffee tastes like (what I think) mud sludge would be like.
Princess uses syrup for their coffee but you can buy a coffee package and go to the coffee bar for brewed from beans coffee.

You were right - the girls are very pretty.
Looking forward to reading your review

We have been away from RCCL for 2 years, but have been sailing on Princess. I have become a coffee lover in the last couple of years - thinking of getting the drink package - I know Starbucks is on the Oasis - but not a lover of their coffee. It mentions premium coffee - where is this available? Is it brewed coffee, or the syrup coffee served in the MDR? Is it just referring to lattes, cappuccinos and expressos?
-
not sure of exact size, but smaller than a hotel room door.
-
Western Caribbean - when did RCCL schedule your Meet and Mingle?

There is a soap called Chlorhexidine (Hibiclens) that surgeons use in surgery to wash in and to wash the patient in - kills most virus. You can buy it at upscale pharmacies in a little white bottle, about 6 oz, i take one and it lasts all week for our family. We are also believers in good ole soap and water.

anyone have thoughts or ideas on Day Resorts in Jamaica? Distance from the ship (Oasis) that would be?
-
Does Oasis offer scuba lessons/certification for their Western Caribbean cruise? 2 years ago, Allure did and it took place in the Aqua theater pool every morning and they went on dives at the ports. I don't see this offered .... am I missing it?

If I have the Premium pkg and I buy a drink that is over my allotted $10, say the drinki is advertized as $11, - do they just charge the extra $1 to my seapass card, or am I not allowed to count that as a premium pkg drink and have to pay the whole $11, because I have gone over the allotted amt?
If you have the premium coffee pkg - does that mean its freshed brewed coffee from grounds and not syurp? ( I realize it isn't STARBUCKS).
If you have the premium pkg and ask the dining room waiter for premium coffee or herbal tea, will he be able to get the brewed kind - or will it be the same (regular stuff they serve that tastes like cruise coffee).
Thanks in advance.

For the Oasis, Western Caribbean itinerary, when do they schedule the Meet and Greet that is sponsered by RCCL. Thanks for your help.

The one that has Labadee as a stop.
-
When we cruise, we pick the cruise that goes to Labadee... it is our favorite island. So much to do and so beautiful. The water is tourqouise but you do need water shoes as it is not a soft and sandy beach. We zipline, parasail, snorkle, ride the water cycles and hate to leave when its time to board the ship.
Last time in Falmouth, we did the ship excursion... Iberostar Hotel for a day. All inclusive hotel, drinks, food, good service, right on the beach and has a pool. It was a great day.
Cozumel we went to Mr Sanchos, pool, beach, food, drinks and plenty to do.

Thank you for replying to this. Its a relief to read you didn't have any smells. I don't like seafood and I was worried about how my cruise was gonna be affected by it.
-
I have booked room 11329, Aft, Boardwalk balcony for our next cruise. Will the Seafood Shack smells drift up to our room? And if I am counting correctly, the bed is beside the balcony in this cabin, correct? (or not?)?

Ships sailing out of Seattle will have their on board "sail away party" in one of the bar/lounges - not up on deck due to the Seattle City ordiance restricting noise:eek:. There isn't the great send off like you get in Florida.

Its been 2 yrs since we were last on RCCL - what is the towel policy? On Princess, last summer - you had a towel, if not returned you were charged for it. If I was responsible for the cost of a towel - I don't believe I would run off and leave it on a chair all day.
I am agreeing with most posters on here, you can tell if a chair is reserved, or if the chair is occupied and someone has gotten up to cool off or get an ice cream. If the bucket of beer is on my chair - and it has ice in it... it hasn't been 30 minutes!
