I am going on my 25th cruise on March 7th and thankfully have never had to use medical services - but I have a question - if you did have to use them and you have travel insurance how does that work?  Do you have to pay for use of the facility and the file on the insurance?  What if for some reason you had to be evacuated?

I tried googling for this information and didn't really find the answer.

Is there any hotel in Jacksonville that offers parking for the week and shuttle to the port?  I know there use to be several but it has been two years since ships were sailing from there ... I have called a couple of hotels and they told me no ... only shuttle to airport.

 We went on a cruise January 3rd .. had ordered the Binax Now proctored test ... $69.99 for 2 I used one and my friend used one - hers worked perfectly - mine was faulty (it never changed colors) this was on New Years Day - thankfully a doctors office in my home town offered to meet me at their office on Sunday the 2nd and do a test.  Optum did refund me the money on the faulty test .....l.l.. but I am proof it can happen

We have an offer for our January 3rd cruise it will not let me do it on-line .... I sent my PVP a txt message and he said an agent has to do it unless you actually get an email with the offer (which I didn't) he said if you get the email you have to go through the email

No but they always get the priority boarding with me (or have for years now and get to get off the ship when I do for the end of the cruise)  none of the other stuff

This is a concern for me .... do we not get to go to the cabin immediately when we get on?  We have 10:00-10:30 boarding ...... if she doesn't have priority will she will she be able to get off at the end of the cruise with me with Platinum debarkation?  I am confused I guess

Thank you our check in date is the 18th so maybe after that time it will show up can you still print off luggage tags and all?  Our cruise is January 3rd

Has this been showing up all along (it use to) or did it show up after you could choose a check in time (we can't choose that until the 18th)

I have cruised 23 times and use to I could log on to my cruise and make changes to setting up spending account or different things like that - I guess during COVID they had time to change the website - I need to add my new form of payment that I want charges to be charged to - my PVP said I would have to call Carnival to do that or wait until I get on the ship ..... I have been on hold for the 2nd time for over 45 minutes ..... why did they do away with all the things we use to fill out online before a cruise - I just don't understand

I just talked to my PVP he said no cruise has been canceled

So does that mean that they are being canceled? Or that they just aren't taking any new reservations?

My November cruise out of Jacksonville has been showing up on the Carnival site but this morning there are no cruises for November showing up at all ......  has anyone else had this happen?

After sail away I got a Cucumber Sunrise from the Alchemy Bar.

 

 

I did have to ask for a straw but it was supplied with no trouble.

 

I took my drink and enjoyed it out on my balcony where there was a whale tail reflecting in the water.

For those of you wanting headphones, there is a social media trading page for the platinum/diamond gifts and ships on a stick. I have a set of unopened headphones, just don't want to have to ship them anywhere. Plus, I am thinking about using them with my pc, so I may end up keeping them. We gave the other set to our grandson.

I had got off a 5 night cruise on the Carnival Paradise in October 2017 ...... on a Sunday about two weeks later ... if that long .... I received a phone call from my PVP saying he had a free cruise I could take the next day out of Jacksonville .... luckily this is within driving distance from my house about 3 1/2 hours (closest port to me) .... I found someone to go with me and all we paid was taxes and port fees ....... and of course tips ... the cruise itself was totally free .... but like I said I had to be able to leave the next day which was no problem for me ... my suitcase was still packed from the prior cruise .......

I don’t think I’ve ever seen trays in the buffet on ANY cruise line.

I like the Cucumber Sunrise and the Basil Drop

I have been on the Magic and also been on the Elation several times and have another cruise booked on the Elation ..... I think that isn't that big of a deal between the two .... the Magic is larger .... so more crowds ..... it has more things you can pay for .... and if you are into all of that go for it ....... Fort Lauderdale is SO much farther than Jacksonville .... so for me that would be a no brainer ..... now if it is leaving out of Port Canaveral that is about an hour farther for me ...... I like the smaller ships .... I like the window seats ...... I like a closer port .... I live in Georgia ..... I loved the Magic and I have nothing bad to say about it .... but if I was going to book one I would choose the Elation..... but I know all people are different

I have been on 20 cruises and I have carried and additional outlet plug on everyone ..... I had a small one for about the first 8 cruises ... and then we left a bag on a shuttle van that had my outlet plug in it ... so then I ordered one from Amazon that has two usb ports and 3 plug ins ....... I have helped over 68 people book cruises and I tell everyone of them to always carry an outlet plug in ..... but that is just my opinion and I always use them .... for blow dryer, phone charger, camera charger, etc .....

I like a coffee with Patron to start the day. Then i like to rotate a few of the bloody mary's at brunch. Then i like vodka and rock star on the lido during the day. Then a jamaica hot coffee after dinner. The evening depends on the activity.... but i really like vodka and red bull so i tend to take my own:cool:

Do you get this at the coffee bar?

My absolute favorite port!!!!! I love the Pub Crawl ... I have done it several times ..... well worth the money especially since you also get a t-shirt!
