Is it true MSC charged for some of the shows? And how was the internet?
-
it's an old trivia question. Which of the 5 boroughs is connected to the continental U.S.A.

Was very happy with Meraviglia's MDR menu. Prime Rib, 7-8 ounce lobster tail, Filet Mignon, Rack of Lamb, Swordfish, Grouper, Steak Diane, Coq au vin, etc. Only one item the whole 11 days that I ordered that I did not like and that was the Veal Chops...hmmm, it was not Veal Chops, it was a Veal Shank and really, really bad. I liked these last menus over any I have had over the last years on Celebrity, Princess, Carnival or NCL.
Were all the above entrees included? or were Thay at a extra cost?

Transition(ing) from operating in a "relaunch" mode to a steadier state of operations." Their words, not mine! Does that mean pay more and get less?

I always tip extra in cash for the room attendants. You will be surprised much your room will be attendant to.

Try going in person at a Passport Office in person with your itinerary, you may be able to get your passport on the spot.
-
I do not understand why people travel without a passport. Without it you are looking for trouble.

Some cruise lines now only clean your cabin once a day. What about MSC?
Thanks for any info.

How was the Magic? We are really thinking about Carnival Venezia. We will wait after a few cruise reviews before deciding to take it or not. My friend who is a long time RCCL cruiser, had recently take the Oasis of the Seas out of Miami. They were not to impressed. Food was OK. But they did say the entertainment was top notch.

Part of the problem is the competition out of New York with both Royal and Norwegian doing year round cruises. Also new next year is MSC is also doing cruises out of here more often.
Hopefully with these newer longer 9-12 day itinerary going to the south Caribbean proves to be popular and they keep offering every year
There must be a big cruise market for all those ships out of NYC.

Hi everyone. I hope someone can answer my question. The Carnival Venezia- I do not see any sailing from Nov 20th until May 29th of 2023.
Is it dry dock preparing for its permanent home in NYC? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks Frank

That' was a fumy response. But a few years ago it was the Royal Swedes. They were great
-
Did you notice any staff shortages?
-
The Royal Swedes used to be the house band on Anthem. They were pretty good.

When we were on Anthem 2 years ago the Royal Swedes were the house band. Not sure if they are still together. But they were a good band.

Great review. Do they actually charge 5.00 for an extra main course?
