I was on same cruise and that's an accurate report. On night one it was open seating everywhere with no wait. Night two was elegant and we were anytime dining. That was longest wait time. About 30 minutes. Sunshine is probably a Ship to consider a fixed dining time. Btw. Im jealous you got to be in liquid lounge for muster drill. Way to crowded on the decks for muster. We were zone C which was let go later too! But all in all a great cruise. How was Deck 3 for motion on the way to Aruba?? We were on Deck 6.

Appreciate your review. Please let us know how muster drill went on Sunshine. I didn't see you mention it.
Thanks!
On the sunshine now and the only negative is probably how crowded the muster drill was on the 27th and the ship was delayed in leaving from the previous week delay. No biggie. Overall Sunshine is great!!

Do your own holds online (you can do one every 24 hours), and book online without the inefficiency or risk of a TA or personal vacation planner making mistakes.
Perfect advice whether it's carnival, RCI, Princess whoever. No surprises.

Yes. They will be just fine. No worries.

On board sunshine now and sailed her before as Destiny. The ship is great. I was on Glory last week and I personally so far like Sunshine better. Albeit I can't say i have had a chance to experience any lines for anytime dining yet.

Just on sunshine. The delay won't hurt anything. The girl life being saved is what matters. There is lots of food

Constant changes to what customers can count on or expect is a problem unless your are giving more to the customers in changes. That can't be said for CCL with their latest changes. They should make changes as a group of changes or plans and be less often. Lately their changes look careless and desperate. I agree with take the best cruise deal from whomever has the itinerary you are looking for.

Almost all gamblers down play there loss and understate it. Carnival wins with serious gamblers. So it's cheaper to just buy your cruise. Sure someone will get lucky in the casino but most will not. I gamble some and my friend is one of those they love because he gambles big, he will get it all for free but not until you lose 4 times or more what they are giving you. Don't be envious of the free offers but instead realize they risked or lost the money to earn it.
Besides if I want to go to a casino I'll do it on land, why spend all your vacation time in the casino hitting a slot machine button

I like the new price of water. Should have had it before. It's not just about alcohol being drought on as water but other dangerous chemicals in liquid form. It's passenger safety and im for it.

The bed bugs are a bad deal. More concerning is the lack of customer service and how you were treated. I say try different cruise lines and pick the best boats with the best reputation for service. If we do that great service is rewarded financially and in the end we all have a better cruise experience.

I mostly fly to port, and if they enforce this rule I will not buy liquor anymore on a Carnival ship. I can only imagine the cluster and lines trying to pick up liquor the morning of disembarkation! I pack my booze carefully in my checked suitcase the night before and I have not had it break (yet). I don't exclusively sail Carnival, so I will just buy my booze on another cruise line.
Totally agree. I have never drank my liquor since I want to pack it. I pack it carefully so I don't have to worry about breakage. The thought of an additional line day of Debarkation guarantees I won't buy any again.

Oh yeah, Condé Nast recently rated Carnival number one among ex-cons, gang members, drunks, cheaters, liars and anyone prone to brawling. You'll never find a more wretched boat of scum and villany.
I don't know how they collected their data but if it's Conde Nest you have to believe it. Im packing a prison shank for now on!!!

I would love to know the email for the maitre'd on the Legend - does PR stand for Pride? Would I replace the PR with LG or LE or something? Thanks in advance...
Do a search. There are posts with all the maitre'd email abbreviations. Legend is probably LE. I know Glory is GL. You will find them on here and possibly Carnival site as well.

Have it delivered the second day and there is no tax. I bought one 12 pack to be delivered on the first day and another to be delivered halfway through the cruise. I paid tax on the first order and none on the second. No state tax in the middle of the ocean.
Thanks. I will try this on my next order to see what happens

Thanks for the warning, but expect very synonym for non attractive words to follow, making you the villain. I'll say sorry in advance.
How true! How true!

I took advantage for two different cruises. Only question I have is why tax on water??

Without an excursion to one of the cayes, the nearest mainland beach is Cucumber Beach. It's about a 15-20 minute taxi ride from the tender pier. It's on a manmade lagoon and used primarily by locals. Google "Old Belize City" for pictures and details on facilities.
If you go to Cucumber beach I suggest don't use the slide. It's dangerous and the water is shallow end of the slide. I tore the skin off both heels on that slide and could barely walk. Thought I broke my feet. Just a cautionary warning. Happened on my third time down the slide. All was good until then.

The Havana bar has great cuban coffee, too, in the mornings, if you are a coffee lover.
Is this coffee you pay for or free?

My son just returned from a 5 day NCL cruise.
He said there was no limit to the number of drinks per day, and no minimum time between drinks.
That's how it should be as far as wait. I have no problem on quantity

The 750 ml bottle is a smaller bottle at least for me. Make sure you check size at store. There are many liter bottles at the store.

Your passport number does not stay with you for life. Every time you renew your passport you get a different number.
Now on the other hand, in my state your driver's license number is forever. My DS moved out of state and had licenses in 3 different states during that time. He was gone for 5 years. When he moved back he went to the DPS to get a driver's license. They said "Welcome Home" and issued his new license with the number that was issued to him at age 16.
Thanks for your post. I checked US passport site and they do change the number. When I got my passport originally which is due to expire soon I was told it remained the same by someone. I can't remember who but I am glad i know that in the event I have something booked when I renew!

Been with a group of about 120. Have a meeting all together and one at the end of the cruise. In between let everyone just do what they like and u will bump into each other plenty.

Email the steakhouse and have your reservations set and what you want to do. You can do this in advance
