Did the Martini class on the Glory a few months ago and it was a blast. Igor was a ton of fun and we drank a lot of Martinis for the price we paid.

You can Go To Hell in Grand Cayman. Literally!

It has been a few months since we were on the Glory and the pool seemed to be what you are looking for. No kids, but lots of adults standing in and sitting around pool with cocktails in hand. We enjoyed that area.

I remember the fish n chips. That was my day #1 meal each cruise that had it. I'm not as crazy about bbq

Slavigne5577, is Igor still at the Alchemy. He is my all time favorite "Drink Doctor". Kept us laughing all week.

Used Platinum/Diamond self assist debark on Glory 3 weeks ago and was off the ship at 7:22 AM

When boarding the Glory last week in NO I sowed VeriFly at check in and the agent didn't seem to know what it was. She said I need to see your documents. I told her that they were all accepted and checked off on VeriFly. She said that she didn't care what I had she wanted to see my documents. So, I guess it is hit or miss right now.

Are they still the plush material that they once had? We did not request one last week, but the ones that were for sale on the Lido were made of a different material.
-
IslandHppy, if you go to the Alchemy Bar ask Igor to show you a photo of Madeline, the purse.

I have seen many passengers, especially on a hot day on the Lido, purchase drinks and pour them into an insulated glass so that it doesn't melt so quickly. It's all good!

Velvetwater, we were on the Glory last week also and the day that they had bacon it was terrible quality. Really fat. Maybe they are trying to kill passenger's desire for it.
-
We had express available on the Glory last week. Steward asked which we would like. We went with regular, but did have a choice.

Markmom18, I thought your comments were inspiring. I think it is great that you are so comfortable in your sobriety that you can sit at the bar in a Mexican restaurant and not want one of those hand crafted
margaritas.Â

Please remember that those who have already had the Virus still need 1 vaccine. Is it better to leave out everyone from cruising or just those who have not had the vaccine? No opinion, just asking.

When one of my cruises was canceled I lost $200 OBC that was promotional for canceled cruise. So happened that the cruise that I rebooked had a promotional offer of free gratuities. You loose promotional OBC on a canceled cruise and get whatever comes with new cruise. Will not hurt to ask, though!

I thought there would be 7 days or less for the near future

I guess Carnival will need to make some changes to excursion rules. They normally pack so many people on a bus that some are standing and this will need to change if social distancing is observed. Herds of people is the main thing that I have against Carnival sponsored excursions.

Okay with me . Next to Nassau , Grand Cayman is my least favorite port . Too many visits is to blame.
I'm with you on this MCC. Don't mind if I don't visit Cayman again.

From my April 19 cruise. I have previously rebooked my cruise for next Spring, but I received my refund from my Drink Package purchase yesterday. Paid with 3 cards and received 1 card with total cost on it. Happy and ready to buy drink package for upcoming cruise.

If you wait and let Carnival cancel your cruise you should have $600 OBC. You will have to pay the difference in pricing of the 2 cruises up front, but this OBC might let you recover that.

Happened to us. We had our April 19, 2020 cruise cancelled. We then moved FCC along with OBC to Aug. 15, 2020. This booking was also cancelled. We have now rebooked for April 25, 2021, hoping that this virus is under control by that time!

My April 19, 2020 cruise was canceled and I had pre-paid for cheers with a gift card. I have not yet received any refund /new card.

They have announced quite fair, even generous, policies.  Choice of full refund or voucher for 125% of cost, and the vouchers are good for 24 months, can be transferred, and will automatically be refunded at expiration.  Very impressive, I hope other cruise lines will follow suit when/if this happens.

😟 Disliked the experience. No, I hated it. I may have been quoted as saying, "What fool would do this again?" Triple-digit sailings after that time, it still makes me giggle. These days I love love love all cruising.

Years after the dreadful experience, that ship was going through a re-fit, caught fire and sunk (glug glug glug). 😊

I was on a ship very much like this in 1966 for a senior class trip. Also Miami to Bahamas. Could have been the same ship. I have not been able to locate any photos. Oh, and I really enjoyed it!
