Our first Oceania cruise was in 2007 and we have cruised with no other line since then. We are very loyal passengers and many of our friends have sailed with Oceania on our recommendation. We are now gold with three Oceania cruises booked for 2016. I will watch with interest to see if Oceania significantly reduce port times after final payment. If this does occur I view it as a breach of trust and will look elsewhere for future cruises.

I have only just discovered this thread so I am sorry if I am seeking information that has already been supplied. We will be on Nautica next March from Beijing to Hong Kong. Any information on shuttles in the following ports would be appreciated:
Hiroshima
Kobe (Kyoto)
Tokyo
Shanghai
Xiamen
Thank you.

The cave tubing was magical! It's an easy 30 or 40 minute walk from the car park to the beginning of the caves and then we floated gently through the caves finishing not far from our transport. One of our best excursions.

We did the Papeete to New York cruise this year. We had one of our best days in Belize starting with cave tubing followed by a trip to Mayan ruins. We did an independent tour for just three of us. If I recall the cost was about $120 including lunch or for just cave tubing it was $45.

Is there a free shuttle providing by the port that gets you from Getxo to the city center? I called Oceania but as usual they told me I had to wait until I am on the ship to see if they were providing a shuttle. Thanks.
When we were in Bilbao last May on Regatta, there were buses provided. However they filled very quickly so line up early. You will need to do the same on the return trip. Be careful to take note of where the bus will pick you up as a few passengers could not recall.

We had booked a September 2016 cruise well before OLife was announced. We took advantage of the extra benefits including four excursions but were required to pay an extra amount - I think around $240 per person but not sure of exact figure.
