Booked an Aqua room on the Silhouette and I just wanted to do a price check and it shows this category is sold out. Is it possible to figure out the current price? I did read on CC that Celebrity will not reprice your room in a sold out category.

By the way, I spent way to much time searching CC and Google for the answer. Google was just Celebrity PR links and CC gives you results for every word you put in the search. I tried clicking on "all search terms" and that was no help.

    Thank you for your help.

Just keep checking periodically. Our cabin class on an upcoming cruise was listed sold out. About two weeks later a couple of cabins in our category showed up as available and at a lower price. Called our CVP and she repriced ours. Saved $350. This was all before final payment was due. Our final payment is due in about 4 weeks so I'm still checking.

  2. When we upgraded to Premium Beverage package while logged into cruise planner it didn't reflect the Elite Plus 15% discount. I had to call our cruise planner to rebook with the discount. Trying to book spa and I don't see how to apply the discount here either.  Is this always the case?

Yep.  Anyone booked had to find a new cruise at prevailing rates.  That is probably the most upsetting thing tbh.   As said was not looking for free cruise etc.   yes upsetting but what celebrity did was just bad in loyalty wise.   What comes out of it who knows   But it is something I am going to push as best I can.  Shipboard is great corporate is bs.

Try this email: mathanadenose@celebrity.com. She was the Executive Concierge as of several years ago. If she's still there it might be worth a shot.

  4. If you've learned your songs from the radio or your personal music collection, trying to do Karaoke with the onboard party band is a bit tricky. I love to do Karaoke, but won't ever do it with the party band again.

  5. We usually do 14+ night trans Atlantics often with a shorter 7-10 day ahead of it. That makes usually a total of five "chic" nights. I still pack a tuxedo and two or three sport coats and ties. I'm in shorts and flip flops almost year round and like the occasional old school dress up. Last November there were still some tuxes on our TA. I think it's a European/British thing. Either way he won't feel out of place and still better dressed than the backward baseball hatters.

We're doing the Italian itinerary on the Constellation in June and hope to just take carry on luggage (partly because our luggage got lost in our way to a previous Med cruise and arrived as we were leaving the hotel in Rome to get to the ship).  My husband thinks he doesn't need a jacket... I think he'll feel out of place without one.  So do I need to stuff jackets for hubs and my son?

  6. I've never booked a guarantee, but I think I know how they work. Here's my question: If I book a Veranda Guarantee and they are no longer selling the Veranda (Partial View) category, only Sunset and Veranda categories, is it possible I could still end up in a partial view veranda?

  7. The only time we ever gave a gift. We were on a cruise that stopped in New York City. Our MDR waiter was not in the group getting shore time so he asked us to get hm an "I ❤️New York" shirt. Not really a gift I suppose, but we declined his offer to pay.
