  1. No, we get the C&A for both of us so 2 days of internet is fine. There's nothing I need to see that badly and if we go in port and there is wifi in a restaurant/shop we use that if needed.
  2. This is a good thread as someone on another thread mentioned getting one piece of broccoli and one carrot. I'm not much of a meat eater and would love a lot more veggies. Waiting to hear as we are contemplating a cruise this year.
  3. I've never seen the Bloody Mary table, but we haven't cruised since pre Pandemic.
  4. How about who wants a stranger sitting on top of them?
  5. I would like my Champagne bar back, but as that's a thing of the past, I will settle for a make your own Bloody Mary bar.
  6. This upsets me. I don't like to eat in the WJ because it's always cold. I can't eat cold food. Well, cold food that's meant to be hot anyway.
  7. I think the same thing on a cruise or at a resort. Steakhouse, Mexican, Italian, Asian. But what else is there? French? I would like that, not sure how many others would.
  8. I know and I find Cracker Barrel disgusting. But it seems I would be in the minority.
  9. I found it odd that they put The Mason Jar on a ship. Being originally from the northeast of the United States, I find that type of food unappealing. There must be a large draw for it here in the U.S.
  10. Oh how I long for the days of caviar in the Champagne bar and hot hors d'oeuvres.
  11. We wouldn't. We've tried it at AI's and we don't like it. I know this isn't gourmet at an AI but my husband is not picky and he just doesn't like it. I want to like it as I like spicy, but something about it has a creepy taste to me.
  12. Always has been a better deal for us but we are big drinkers. We are Diamond, but if we go to the MDR for breakfast, that's 3 mimosas for me right there. Several bloody mary's at the pool and then beers in the pub before a nap, drinks at dinner and a nightcap. Oh be still my liver!
  13. Thank you so much for the photos. We stayed in Aruba in 1999 and have all the same photos of the then Natural Bridge, the Lighthouse and the Haystack which we climbed. Good memories, easier that digging out my actual photos.
  14. Yes, our first cruise experience was just that. "Oh, all the desserts look so good, but I think I will have the chocolate mousse. And out comes every dessert on the menu that I didn't want. I learned real quick to just order one item and make no further comments so as not to waste the food.
  15. We were considering a Celebrity cruise of the Med this October. $1744 for two for the beverage package. That was 8 days, but Ouch!
  16. I can't believe the art auctions are still a thing, but I guess enough people still buy.
  17. Can't wait for this review. Harmony is one of the choices we are looking at now. I thought Royal didn't have the vacination/booster requirement any longer. ??
  18. Mine isn't working. No cruises to the Caribbean or Canada this year. Glad to see after 3yrs. away from cruising Royal's website works as well as it ever did. Do you think they could have used their downtime during the pandemic to make a website that actually works?
  19. I remember Christmas at Kraynak's, shopping for shoes at Reyer's and visiting that chocolate place that had all the chocolate designs. Grew up closer to P.A. Thanks to all for your feedback. Still debating between Caribbean/New England.
  20. Forgive my shoddy home made sign. Originally from Northeast Ohio. Big Fan of Bradshaw and the Steel Curtain!
  21. Food was not as good for sure pre covid and the nickel and diming I thought hit an all time high back then. Sad. Thanks LB_NJ.
  22. No escargot daily? Now I'm mad. That was my favorite. Every day, for starter and in place of dessert.😡
  23. Thanks, good feedback. Uggh about the chair hogs. That's one good thing about doing the resort vacation. I feel better about reserving a cruise knowing that it's pretty much the same. Thanks! Now I just need to decide on which one.🤔
