That's an interesting itinerary.

But to be on the safe side, think I'll stick with my original plan of a 7 day to Mexico next year

They were the perfect size. 

Very comfortable, and a smooth ride (weather permitting LOL). 

Nieuw Amsterdam was my very first trip with HAL, and so began the love affair with that line.

To be honest, I've probably seen that painting on board, but can't recall when/where. 

But I sailed into Hamilton numerous times on other ships, and that house has always been there. 😎

Yep, that's Arcadia. She was also to become QV, but Cunard went for a model with a stronger hull for trans-At purposes.

If you go to Loreto don't pay for the walking tour. As far as we could tell that tour just went everywhere we went on our own. Part of the time we moved away from that group because we didn't want to hear the guide. When we visited it was still almost a new cruise stop. I think they had stopped there the year before. Everybody was very friendly and, while I've never been a fan of Mariachi bands, I have to say the one in the village square was really very good. I was surprised and impressed. When we were there the beach right by town was clean there wasn't a big crowd.
