Yes - our guide on the White Night Catamaran last night said he was always looking for more “fun” questions to add to his collection. Like “How many times a day do you do the sunset cruise?” and the guy who was trying to collect every color of water in bottles for his kids and could not figure out why it was always clear in the bottles. 🤣🤣LOL
That's funny. I've heard a few anecdotes from there, but not that one.
Doesn't it bite that you're on the way back home? 😵

In the 3rd photo above, I just love looking at that water. All those shades of blue no matter what the weather.
Cheers to you!

ss Rotterdam V to Hawaii, round trip from L.A.* ...
It was my 1st visit to the islands, and absolutely fell in love with the Aloha State. I definitely hope to return.
* Even tho it was a 17 day from CA, I hopped on board in Vancouver for an extra 3 days at a deal I couldn't refuse.

I agree with everything CruiserBruce has said here but don't call it "San Fran"-- the locals will crucify you for it. San Francisco, SF, all fine-- San Fran hits a nerve you don't want to hit. Trust me.
I thought "Frisco" was the number 1 irritant ...

I'm guessing this 10 day Carib is the one offered on Sapphire Princess?
Duh.
Answered my own question.
(Hey, it's too bloody hot and my brain cells melted ... 😰😵😎)
Stay cool everyone.

Enjoy your 1st trip to Bermuda ... I'm sure you'll fall in love with that little piece of paradise, just like I have!
(Been there countless times and I never get tired of it. ☺)
Bon Voyage and Happy Birthday!

Hal's ships are not too big for Bermuda.
I'm pretty sure Volendam and Zaandam are able to fit at the Front Street wharf.
Their dimensions are the same as Veendam, but an extra 60ft or so.
Just wonder if they could squeeze thru Two Rock Passage ... 😵

I think that was the quality of the photograph rather than the printing !
He's good thank you.
Great to hear.
Stay safe on board and ashore.
Looking forward to reading more as the trip progresses.
Have fun! ☺😎

I know. Just having a little fun.
Noticed the almost invisible decimal point before posting. 😀
Have a great time, and hope Mr HH is fully on the mend after the QV situation.
Bon Voyage! 🍸🎉

I can see all the PC sailings on the web site, and was able to book one on Tuesday.
They do follow RCCL's annoying lead and call it Orlando.
Orlando??
That solves the mystery then. LOL
Thanks for the heads up. I'll go check it out.

Princess has updated the document with the other Caribbean cruises that will go on sale on the 24th to include the Port Canaveral cruises.

Thanks for the info.
But it's the 26th, and there's nothing on the website regarding Port Canaveral for Nov/Dec 2024.
Only Regal and Sun from FLL.
Very strange. 🤔

Orange night is just a party. They encourage people to wear orange. It was in BB King's on my Jan Eurodam cruise. I didn't go because it's always crowded and very noisy in there. People at my table reported the next night that there were supposed to be some special treats but they didn't get any.
A special treat for us regarding BB King bands would be earplugs ... 😵

I love the shots of Capilano.
The scenery around Vancouver is beyond spectacular.
I fell in love with that town on my first visit 30 years ago. And I hope to return!
Bon voyage and enjoy the trip! 🎉🍸

"Digital detox", perhaps?
There comes a time when we all need to step away and disconnect.
It does wonders for the mind and soul.
Tried it myself recently, and I feel like a completely new person.

Sure looks comfortable.
And an interesting snippet regarding the "choke point".
I just don't understand their rationale in placing that chest in such an awkward location.
What were they thinking?? 😵

NYC Yellow cabs are way too expensive to consider for that distance.
Not to mention that the drivers are notorious for refusing inter-borough trips.
Better to stick with the suggestions for Uber or private car service.

For "reasonably priced," that means public transportation (in this case, $2.75 per person using subway into downtown Brooklyn, then free transfer to a bus for the last leg to the port).
In my opinion, not a good way to start a cruise vacation.
Sure, the price is reasonable. But save that option for sightseeing among other things.
Why drag luggage up and down stairs in the stations, then try to stuff them in crowded trains. 🤪

Oh yeah, before I forget ...
Where there any sightings of Bermuda shorts in the evenings during dinner on board?
I recall seeing some posts on the Celebrity boards a few years ago that was verboten, but some say they got away with it.
