Yeah, me too! I've kayaked in Key West before, and it was nice, but I love the idea of the glass bottom kayak. I think it's something my wife and kids will enjoy too!

Okay, so we're setting sail on July 18th aboard the Dawn. My 11 year old son, my 9 year old son, and my 8 year old niece are VERY excited about going. Can anyone give a good, bad, or ugly review concerning the kids clubs?
I have been on two previous NCL cruises when my sons were under 6, but now that they're much older, I'm wondering what fun stuff they'll have to do on board.
We went on the Carnival Glory 2 years ago, and they apparently had fun in the kids clubs even though on a giant ship like the Glory, there wasn't always a fun meeting place for the kids. On some nights, the kids met in a conference room, and the people running the club didn't seem like they cared to be there.
Please share your experiences :)

Hello All (AGAIN!)
I was also wondering if anyone has done the Shipwreck & Coral Reef Snorkel Combo excursion offered through NCL. I've seen SEVERAL snorkeling excursions offered through NCL, and this seems like the only one where there are TWO different destinations for snorkeling. Has anyone done this?
Do you recommend a different snorkeling excursions through NCL?
Is there a different snorkeling excursions NOT offered through NCL?
Thanks again,
Jeff :)

Hello All, we are heading to Bermuda next month on the NCL Dawn, and we were wondering if anyone has done the Wild, West Kayak excursion. Also, are there other kayaking excursions available in Bermuda besides the one offered through NCL?
Thanks in advance,
Jeff :)

I spoke with NCL about this issue on Monday. We have about $1,500 in OBC for our upcoming cruise. I called because I wanted to book excursions on NCL.com, but I wanted to use my OBC. I was told I could only book excursions on their website with a credit card.
HOWEVER, if there is a remaining OBC balance at the end of your cruise, then the amount simply goes back onto the credit card that you gave them at the beginning of the cruise.
Hope this answers your question.
Jeff :)

How was the Ferry service getting to/from St. George? Did you stay at St. George all day? Did you take in the caves or the BMAZ? Any busses?
How was the weather? I told my wife I felt bad for those cruising out of Boston on Friday. Did you have better weather on Saturday?
How's your room?
Hope you have a great trip :-)

Thanks for posting the dailies!! I enjoyed looking through each one.
Can I just say, WHAT'S THE DEAL with some of these activities?? After I go to the Detox seminar, I'll go to the fitness seminar, then I'll go to the look younger seminar. I'll eat a huge meal, and then I'll go to the weight loss seminar. ENOUGH WITH THE SEMINARS!!!
My apologies to all those who love and enjoy all those seminars!!! ;-)

Thanks for all the great posts...I would have never considered City View if I didn't read all the comments here. We're going to KW for a few days next week. Even though the Trolley gives you a free 2nd day, it seems like City View is a better deal overall!

With the 10th anniversary of 9/11/01 just a few days away, I was wondering if anybody on here was actually on a cruise or in Disney World/Land during the tragic events of 9/11 and wanted to find out what life was like on a cruise ship or a Disney Theme Park that day.
Were you even aware of the events? Did the captain or the park make an announcement? Could you watch it unfold on the ship's TVs? Did the cruise line make it easier to reach family members?
Thanks for posting.
Bermuda dolphin experience
in Bermuda
Posted
So, I just found out my parents want to do the Bermuda Dolphin Experience when we go in July. Does anyone have any opinions on this excursion? Is it better to book through the cruise line or book directly through Dolphin Quest?
Thanks in advance,
Jeff :D
