  1. Just found out they will be starting service from my local airport. I got excited.... then I started reading reviews.... No Thank You. I'd rather fly to/from my cruise having peace of mind. Seems people start jumping on cheap flights without doing research first and be in for a rude awakening. I won't get caught in that trap.

  2. I doubt many have stayed at both (neither have I) so a fair comparison is difficult!

It really depends on what you are looking for and the rooms you are getting! Being a Hampton Inn frequent guest wherever we travel and knowing the Cocoa Beach property rather well, it is my natural choice BUT:

To compare the two hotels is a long discussion when considering distance from the beach, location, what's nearby, room types and shuttle/cruise parking. May I suggest you start with these two detailed descriptions and pictures:

Thank You. Sorry for wording it incorrectly because I wasn't particularly looking for those who have stay at both. Rather, those who have stayed at either/or and their positive or negative experience at which ever one of these hotels they stayed at.

  3. I have a cruise booked for December. How soon does Carnival allow you to pick a check in time/window. I've filled out most of my online documents but it's not giving me a check in option. Could it be it's just too early and they want to get a certain amount of cabins booked so most can get a fair chance at choosing a time that fits for them??? After final payment date???

  4. For those of you that have taken the western (Cozumel, Belize, Mahogany Bay, Costa Maya) which side of the ship offers the best balcony view when in ports. When I booked, I choose a port side not even thinking about the view. If starboard side is better i'm not sure if I can change without a fee.

  5. Is there a shared shuttle that will pick up from MCO to PC Hotel and also pick up from cruise terminal to MCO? How much usually are shared shuttles per person? We are a family of 4. Our next option would be to rent a car but was trying to give hubby a break from driving but also trying to save a few $$$. Just weighing my options. TIA

  6. It's been 5 years since I've cruised. I'm not quite sure how I dressed to board the ship or if I changed clothing for dining. If I wear shorts to board do I have to pack other clothing in carry-on for the dining room just in case my luggage isn't at my room in time to get dressed?
