Before I continue I want to mention we plan to stay in Seattle until Sunday. I have been considering to continue the review to give some insight on what to do at the Seattle port. What do you think?
Wonderful! We are also staying until Sunday. Friday doing a food tour at Pike Place Market and Space Needle or MoPop museum. Sunday Chihuly Glass, aquarium and Agrosy Harbor Cruise all except the food tour with the CityPass. DH has a walking disabilty so to get around we will taxi, Uber or City bus. There is a neat app Rome2rio that looks to be really helpful that tells the price of taxi etc or walk time works like a gps with multiple options. I hope we can fit it all in.

Yes. Since retiring I have little use for a phone so when I got this one I was looking for a camera that had phone capabilities. 😆 It's a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. It has a 10x lens that has really come in handy on this trip.
I'm due for a new phone I'll have to look into that one.

I remember someone posting a moor was damaged in Sitka. We are at the pier but at 1pm the boat will move away and thereafter we tender back to the boat.
Do you have a RCL excursuion planned? We have a private excursion and will be interested in hearing if theres a shuttle & how long it takes to get to town.
I hope they get the moor repaired by August
Have a great day!

The tram will take you to the end of the pier where the city busses are at. Once you board the bus goes to several stops in the city. I noticed a bus in town waved down so a couple could board. The busses circles all day from the shop, around town and back to the ship.
I just remembered we have a RCL excursion in Skagway so I won't worry about taking the bus from the ship but I hope we can catch the $5 bus to take us back to the ship. When we were there 7 years ago I remember that long walk back to the ship from downtown.

The shops in Juneau is an easy walk.
How about the tram is that short walk?

And another from the pickup and drop off point to downtown Skagway that costs $5 for the day.
Does this $5 one take you right from the ship to downtown?

I'm already home.
I'd get a City Pass and go to the Space needle, Pike Place Market, the Aquarum, etc.

My return flight was 11:15 a.m. and the luggage tags and check in ticket showed up about 9:00 p.m. the night before disembarkation.
What are your plans for the 2 days after the cruise? We don't fly home until Sunday after our cruise trying to plan our 2 days in Seattle.

Since cruising restarted, I've booked all my cruises with a refundable deposit. Once I purchased our airfare I had my TA change my booking to NRD. The fee was deducted from my balance due and the original rate has never changed or the cabin I booked.

I would also like to know when your next cruise is and if you'll be doing a "Live" review. I followed along on some of your other reviews on NCL and Celebrity & enjoyed them all.

How was your dinner in Grande? I assume you will have the same table each night and can just walk in without standing in line. If possible can you post some pictures of the room especially near the windows.
Enjoying all the pictures and info.

I'll be following along I was getting withdrawal after graphicguy's live posts ended. Did you happen to see if there was a priority or Key line upon arrival? Do you have MTD or a traditional MDR early or late dining? We are sailing Ovation the last week of August our itinerary is similar to yours I'm particularly interested in Victoria. Thanks for doing this and have fun.

How far is the walk from the ship, Ovation, to the shuttle bus or the taxi's?

For those who follow any of the cruise Vloggers/ YouTubers, I had the pleasure of meeting Chris Wong who has his Royal vlog, which follows his work as a Casino Host. Very personable and likable young man.
Helpful, too! Glad I got a chance to chat with him.
I plan on stopping by to meet him. I started watching when someone in one of our groups posted a link when he started back up with Ovation.

With traditional you will be limited to Chic and Grande.
Biker, who would choose Grande since the tassels at the bottom of the chairs in Chic are annoying.
Thanks from pictures I've seen Grande looks nicer. I'm going to miss the feel of the 3 floor dining.

I talked to a lady tonight that had MTD, and she said they were in American Icon and Silk, so I guess that leaves assigned in The Grande and Chic if that’s important.
Yes thank you. I always make a special request pre cruise for a specific location due to some issues we have. On the other RCL ships we didn't have to specify which dining room only MDR. I understand Ovation has 4 dining rooms so I need to decide which to request.

When you are in Victoria I heard you have to try a beavertail at the Beavertail store downtown.
