We (3) are on a Solstice cruise from Seattle followed by a Carnival cruise from Long Beach next August and I have a few questions please if anyone can help.

1 We arrive from the UK into SEA day before (Thurs) and we are booked into the Maxwell - approx what would be the taxi fare from the airport?

2 After the Solstice how much time do I need to leave to get from the port to SEA in a taxi, for our flight to LAX? And what would be the cost approx?

3 What is the earliest flight time we could make? I was thinking to be safe around midday. (Thinking of booking an AA flight)

4 From LAX how long and how much is a taxi to Long Beach? (Thinking of booking Hyatt Pike).

Looking at the Consent Form you have to sign, it does not state that both parents need to sign. So with just your daughters signature you should be absolutely fine, but I would run it past RCCL first.

Don't give up, it's too good a thing to pass up.

Does anyone know if this is a fleet wide thing? I've read in a few places here that Diamond / Diamond + can get complimentary drinks at any bar / lounge between 4:30-8:00pm in addition to the Diamond Lounge.

I will be on Freedom in October and would love this perk!!

We were on the Freedom a couple of weeks ago. You could visit the Diamond Lounge and use your 3 vouchers during the cocktail time. At the beginning of the week they frowned on people leaving the DL with a drink so we used to get one at a bar before going to dinner using a voucher. By the end of the week people were just leaving with their drinks.

Also on embarkation day they had a welcome back drinks in the DL (usually it's not open first night) from 430pm. Waiters were really attentive :D

I agree with Sirkeline, JFK is a slow process. We are flying in the week after to do the same thing and we have 2.5 hours. I wouldn't feel comfortable with anything less.

We were offered a 2 for 1 meal at a speciality restaurant for turnaround day. This was offered on board 1st week though, not when we booked.
