We've never taken $2.00 bills, but after reading here that some people use them we have asked a couple of our stewards and wait staff and they do not like them. Some countries don't know what they are and it just makes it tough for them to use. They also do not want international phone cards.

I use to have my daughter order $2.00 also for tips, then I read that the crew really doesn't like these as they are often hard for them to exchange in port. If I was misinformed I would love to go back to the $2.00 bills.

I always figure that on a 4 day I miss an entire weeks work for my vacation, since it leaves on Mon and come back on Friday. For a few dollars more I can have a 7 day cruise and still only miss an entire week of work.

The advantage is a last minute deal and I love Catalina.

If you just look at the deck plans, these cabins really stand out.

I know that 8232 on the Miracle is one and I am going to be in it:)

Fair enough! I know the crew is busy...just thought it would be fun to have something delivered for sail away. But, we can just as easily go up to the Lido. May as well start getting some exercise on the first day!

Thank you so much for you in depth review. We are sail on her in February and am anxious to see. I know it is a Spirit class ship and we have sailed on the Spirit and Pride, so I understand it is the same layout. I am a disappointed that they do not have the upgraded spa, Guys, or Hasbro games. I thought when booking that all the ships were to be upgraded in 2012-2013.

Was so sorry to hear about the quality of food. I have read several reviews making these comments. I love to experience new things on the ship and always have looked forward to a variety of menu choices. I certainly hope you enjoyed your entire stay in our country. I hope you were able to experience several attractions and sites.

Does anyone have recent copies of the daily schedules for Mexican Riviera the one that is two days in PV and 1 in Cabo. I would love to see the daily schedules so I know when to schedule my dinners at the Steak house. Don't want to miss a thing!!

The Carnival info state there is an additional fee for an additional entrée. Anyone know what that fee is? There are so many yummy things to choose from.

Has anyone ever stayed in this cabin? I was told the balcony was 180 sq feet. Would love some feedback on if you think it is worth the extra cost.
