Thank you to you both, we have been given a quote from Alamo in South Beach which seems pretty good. Presume we could pick up an Uber to get there quite easily from POM?

Hi, we are going on our first Disney cruise next April and wish to hire a car afterwards, we would prefer not to have to go to the airport so where is the best place to get car hire from?
-
We are thinking of booking a 5 night Disney cruise on Dream, grandparents in a verandah cabin, parents and 2 children in an inside, preferably with cabins close together. Which deck would people choose and why? TIA
-
We should be flying next Friday for a cruise from Miami on 23rd, hoping Celebrity cancel the cruise but also BA cancels flights as really not sure we want to be flying to Florida any more. If we cancel flights we lose everything. Anyone else in this situation?

We are going on Infinity in 13 days time, 23rd March, just 5 days calling at Key West & Cozumel. I have read some ports are not allowing cruise ships in - does anyone know which ports?
-
We were in 8170 last year at this time on Constellation (same layout) and it was a fabulous cabin, very quiet. We are going on Infinity on 23rd March (hopefully) and have 8185 and really looking forward to it. Just 2 flights up and you are in the Oceanview café.

We are on Infinity in just over 3 weeks, concierge class, and believe we can have lunch on embarkation day in MDR. Does anyone know what times this is until? 1pm? 2pm? TIA
-
Also, what is the entertainment like on Infinity just now - and what times are the theatre shows? Thinking of pre-booking the dining room but we do like to go to the shows most nights.
-
I know you are able to pre-book dining room for the first night - but how far in advance of your sailing? We are concierge if that makes a difference. TIA

I'm looking for the same...would rather use a local company than the cruise excursion. I would like the same things you are looking for (except lunch isn't necessary). Read through some posts here and have come across cozumelcruiseexcursions.net (seems there is also one by the same name but .com, not sure which one is actually better), cozumelh20.com, and mystic snorkel. Would love any input people have! I'll be with my kids age 15 and 11, they haven't snorkeled before.
We have researched and now booked a trip through cozumelcruiseexcursions.com, email correspondence was excellent and the trip sounds just what we are wanting - I hope. We are going at the end of March.

We are visiting here on 26th March on Infinity, which cruise port do we dock at? TIA
-
We are hoping to do a snorkelling trip when here at the end of March with Celebrity, not sure whether to book a trip through the ship or organise a local excursion . Would love to go out on a boat, great snorkelling with equipment, lunch and drinks included. Any ideas?
-
Any other info on Constellation entertainment would be welcome, we go on 4th March, and getting excited.
What is the show Elyria?

Has anyone been on Connie recently or actually at the moment who can update on what shows, performers etc are on board just now, and what would be recommended. We go on her 4 weeks today.
Also, is there a shuffle board on deck?

On Millenium last year I had a Medori Colada, like a pina colada but melon liqueur instead of pineapple. We had the classic package, this cocktail was $10 so I paid $1 - well worth it.

We have a voucher for a specialty restaurant as part of our package from our TA. Is there any way we can pre-book a restaurant using this as I see you have to pay upfront? TIA

Are you on one of the Celebrity cruises that starts in Abu Dhabi?? If so then why not exchange some sterling (or dollars) into rupees at one of the many money exchanges there before you sail across to India. Rupees are ready available in any of them and you don’t need to use ATM’s in India when you get there... I did an Indian coastal cruise last year and took rupees in cash with me...
Anne..
Thanks for your reply Anne - yes we are leaving from Abu Dhabi, will be there for 2 days before the cruise so could change money there but we were told we couldn't take rupees into India.
-
So do we all think that Qsine is still on Connie. We would love to book for dinner one evening for our cruise from 4th March but it isn't an option.
-
We are going to India in a few weeks with celebrity, 4 different ports. Have just realised we can't bring rupees with us. What have others done? Our first port is Cochin - can we change sterling (or dollars) there? Any help would be welcome.
-
-
I have checked the deck pans online and see no mention of Qsine. Is it to be where Ocean Liners is at present? And where are these new cabins - the opposite side from cabins 3112, 3114?
-
For our cruise on Constellation in March it is $50 for $55, ordered some last night.
-
Guess its a win win situation, we get 10% extra, don't carry the cash and as I used credit card we get airline miles too. Have just ordered some casino credit in £££, presume we then go to the casino cash desk with a print out of our email and collect the dollars. Great!
Miami port to South Beach
in Florida Departures

We will be disembarking in Port of Miami and have to collect a hire care at Alamo, South Beach. Would you recommend taking an Uber or Taxi? And how long is the journey. Thanks
