We are taking the 19 night Ultimate Alaska Cruise Tour. We have 3 nights on the ship then get off in Skagway for the 10 day land portion and return to Whittier for the 7 nights back to Vancouver. I can not find much on this. I do know there is limited food provided as you are on your own except the all day bus trip to get to one point to another. Then a box lunch is provided. Looking forward to this tour.

We will be back home by then. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for all the information. I know we can not do it all in two days, and really want a nice place to stay to wind down our fast pace cruise before going back home. We are walkers and enjoy walking and don't have a problem riding the tube. I think we will go with the Great Scotland Yard. Thanks for all of your help. Looking forward to visiting London and not just passing through. It will be an excuse to come back and explore more.

We will be heading to London after our British Isle cruise in July for 2 nights. We have narrowed our choice to Great Scotland Yard Hotel or Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill. We will be staying on points. Which is the better hotel for visiting all the main sites before heading back to the airport. We plan on walking off the cruise ship with our luggage and taking the train to London. I am leaning toward Great Scotland Yard Hotel but would like input since we have never been to London before.

We do carry on all the time. My husband does not bring a suite, he just wears a dress shirt and a tie. He brings 2 pairs of pants, several shirts, jeans and the zip off pants. He wears his shirts more than once since they are only used in the evening. He packs underarmour shirts for the day that can be rinsed out in the sink and re-wear along with a sweatshirt. Same for underwear and socks. Buy the kind that dry quickly. We purchased ours on Amazon.
I bring a couple of dresses, several pants and tops and make sure I can mix and match. We usually wear a pair of shoes and pack the dress shoes. Again clothes that can be washed out in the sink and re-worn works great. They do have laundry if you do not want to do this.
We have never had any problems traveling with carry on. This allows us to bring our luggage on the ship and not worry about the luggage not getting to our cabin. We also walk off the ship with our bags beating the crowds.

Also note we are not going into Warnemunde but Rostock now.

We are on the same cruise. We booked with Alla Tours for St Petersburg and Berlin/Rostock. The remainder of the ports we are doing on our own. Purchased Rick Steve's book Scandinavian & Northern European Cruise Ports. Will use this information to do walking tours and getting around. Much cheaper than the tours through Princess.

We used Norway Excursions in July 2017. We booked a tour in Alesund and 1/2 day in Geiranger both really worth it. They are expensive but everything is expensive in Norway. We did get a discount for booking two tours.

Thanks for posting this video. We were in this port and brought back many fond memories of our trip. I also like to see videos of ports to get a better idea of what to expect. Great job and keep the videos coming.

Thanks for the information. Can't wait for our cruise.

In December Royal Caribbean offered a special package including the Chef Table once we got on board that was cheaper than if we purchased it on line. Does any one that has been recently know?
Also what is the cost to use the special spa for the day, trying to decide whether to bring a bathing suit since the weather is not going to be warm.
Can't wait only a couple more days before our cruise.

It is definitely a much smaller group than a cruise ship tour. The snorkeling will depend on the current, but you get to spend time with the rays and sharks before moving on to the snorkeling site about five minutes away. As far as Caye Caulker, we only had about an hour or so. It gave us time to eat, as they had the food ready when we returned, and then walked around before it was time to get back on the boat. Enough time to get a feel for the island but not enough time to see much. We had a good time and would do it again.

I have only used the Roatan vanilla so can't really answer your questions. Its so cheap on Roatan, just pick up a bottle and try it.

We tried to go to Screw Spa and they wanted $80 for two people, which I thought was way to much. Read about where we went instead for a Sulpher experience like Screw Spa

The beach in the pier was right as we walked back to the ship. I don't really consider it a beach, just beach chairs on hard sand.
-
Take Uber its much cheaper than $25

I would recommend using Coral Breeze also if you want to get to Caye Caulker. It was a fun trip and I would use them again. You can see pictures of our day at http://winenchocolate.com/our-day-in-belize/. Just remember the ship stay on their time, it does not change over to Belize time. Not much of a beach on Belize, but a fun island to explore.

We booked a tour with Coral Breeze and I did a write up along with pictures on my blog you can read about it here. http://winenchocolate.com/our-day-in-belize/
We did the Shark/Ray Alley Snorkeling and Caye Caulker Exploration. It was a great tour and much cheaper than what the boat tour was. Remember you stay on ship time vs Belize time, so beware of that when planning tours. Belize was an hour behind ship time.

Cozumel will post on May 8, Belize will post on May 1. I am glad you enjoyed St Croix. There was not alot out there when we went there, so I am glad you enjoyed your day.

I think it was $40 or $45. It was so worth it as everything is fresh. Allow plenty of time as they cook it fresh.

One of our port stops in December 2016 on Rhapsody of the Sea was Costa Maya. We spent the day at Blue Kay Beach. The lounge chairs are free when you buy food and drinks. You can walk to the beach or take the tram. You can see my write up with pictures here:

We were on a cruise during Christmas week and stopped in Roatan. We had rain and overcast weather during our day, but it did not keep us from getting out and enjoying the island. You can read about my post and see pictures here.

A car rental is $50 but you need to negotiate this. We put $10 of gas in the car. You can park at Infinity Bay and walk through the resort and are right on the beach. Plenty of places to lay your towel on the beach and snorkel.
-
Yes, there is a stand on the beach near Bananarama. The best snorkeling is right out in front of Infinity Bay and then head toward the wall while in the water.
