Great review!! I'm so glad to hear you had such a good time. We board her on Saturday and can not wait! :)
-
Yes please - 5 days until we board her! :D
-
Yes, there is one (I believe it to be the cowboy steak) which has bone in.
Awesome- thank you!
-
Random question - are any of the steaks bone-in? My hubby is part caveman and loves meat on the bone. :)
-
Thanks for the review! So funny- your plans mirror our so much! We too are doing Coki and Barrachina. :)
-
YOU JUST MADE MY WHOLE WEEK!!! :D Thank you so much!!:D

Hi Catrin! Just wanted to say I'm loving your review and also thank you so much for the information about the free trolley in San Juan. I sent it to my whole group for our upcoming Magic trip. We have a few elderly people who will absolutely appreciate (as do my husband and I).
Sorry to hear your little one was hurt on the flowrider. :( Looking forward to the rest of your review - and I'll be checking out your Magic review as well! :)

No - at least once, maybe twice, depending on interest. But it's not the regular Sea Day Brunch that's offered every sea day, that's different.
Thanks so much! I'm guessing it will be in the fun times then. Can it be booked in advance, it is it first come first served?
-
Do they do this every sea day? I want to make sure we don't miss it. [emoji4]
-
Id love a review too! We are taking the panoramic tour in 12 days. [emoji3]
-
Haha I've been waiting too!

Awesome! Glad you're having a great time! Do you know if the pig & anchor place was open on embarkation day by chance?

Hi everyone:
I am looking for some advice. We had our hearts set on snorkeling at Coki Beach next month but after reading several reviews about how small it is I am concerned. The day we are there the following ships are all in port:
Carnival Glory - 2,984
Carnival Magic - 3,690
Norwegian Escape - 4,248
Oasis of the Seas - 5,408
Of course we're on the Magic which is the last ship to arrive at 11am. :(
What would you do? Should we just suck it up and go to Coki? Any chance we won't be able to get chairs or an umbrella? If not, is there another beach that has facilities AND good snorkeling?
PS - we are a group of 15 with ages ranging from 11 months to 70 years.
TIA!

Sounds like a great plan! [emoji4]
I've spent a lot of time in OSJ over the years (been many times to PR to visit family) and three spots come to mind:
El Batey- this is a dive type bar that feels like you just walked into a scene from pirates of the Caribbean. Nothing fancy, but definitely cool and authentic.
Barrachina- the place where the pina colada was invented! Very cute, open air restaurant with a nice outdoor bar. The pina coladas are amazing!
Don Q rum- it's a small museum that displays the history of Don Q and ends with free shots of their rum! Hint- tip the bartender and you may get an extra shot or two. [emoji6]
Enjoy your time there!

Do they have Martini tasting on ships that do not have the Alchemy Bar?
Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
I believe so, at least they used to. I did one at the promenade bar before.
-
Sadly it is no longer available, it was one of our favorite things to do every cruise.
Aww- that's too bad. I can't imagine why the stopped it. Thanks for letting us know!
-
Anyone know?
-
On our Glory cruise a few years back we did a wine tasting event on the first sea day that was awesome. I think it was $15 pp but we tried a bunch of wines and were able to sample small plates of amazing food from the steakhouse. Anyone know if this is still available?
Tia!

I believe they've added those to the banned list for that reason. I'm sure I saw that either here or on Carnivals website. No blow up pools on deck.
I wish they did have a kiddie pool for little ones. I could take my son this year.
Ugg really? I had no idea. [emoji53] If nothing else we have swim days in all of the ports aside from one so she'll get her chance to swim off the ship.
They really need to make a splash area for babies in diapers.
-
Nope. We're in the same boat- sailing with an 11 month old in May. I'm bringing a tiny blow up bathtub that I may bring to the deck so she can slash around a bit. [emoji4]
-
If you change from a 3 day to a 7 day when you get back does the OBC increase accordingly?
-
Woot! I am so excited about this! I literally squealed when I saw it! [emoji23] Can't wait to try it out in May!
-
I'm so excited to read this! We sail on her in 8 weeks! Thank you for the report.
Can you elaborate on the street tacos? Is this a new thing?! [emoji7]
