  1. Hey everyone:

I made a full walk though video of Guys Pig & Anchor BBQ from our recent Magic sailing for anyone interested. Enjoy! :D

  2. Hi Catrin! Just wanted to say I'm loving your review and also thank you so much for the information about the free trolley in San Juan. I sent it to my whole group for our upcoming Magic trip. We have a few elderly people who will absolutely appreciate (as do my husband and I).

Sorry to hear your little one was hurt on the flowrider. :( Looking forward to the rest of your review - and I'll be checking out your Magic review as well! :)

  3. No - at least once, maybe twice, depending on interest. But it's not the regular Sea Day Brunch that's offered every sea day, that's different.

Thanks so much! I'm guessing it will be in the fun times then. Can it be booked in advance, it is it first come first served?

  4. Hi everyone:

I am looking for some advice. We had our hearts set on snorkeling at Coki Beach next month but after reading several reviews about how small it is I am concerned. The day we are there the following ships are all in port:

    Carnival Glory - 2,984

    Carnival Magic - 3,690

    Norwegian Escape - 4,248

Oasis of the Seas - 5,408

Of course we're on the Magic which is the last ship to arrive at 11am. :(

What would you do? Should we just suck it up and go to Coki? Any chance we won't be able to get chairs or an umbrella? If not, is there another beach that has facilities AND good snorkeling?

PS - we are a group of 15 with ages ranging from 11 months to 70 years.

    TIA!

  5. Sounds like a great plan! [emoji4]

I've spent a lot of time in OSJ over the years (been many times to PR to visit family) and three spots come to mind:

El Batey- this is a dive type bar that feels like you just walked into a scene from pirates of the Caribbean. Nothing fancy, but definitely cool and authentic.

Barrachina- the place where the pina colada was invented! Very cute, open air restaurant with a nice outdoor bar. The pina coladas are amazing!

Don Q rum- it's a small museum that displays the history of Don Q and ends with free shots of their rum! Hint- tip the bartender and you may get an extra shot or two. [emoji6]

    Enjoy your time there!

  6. On our Glory cruise a few years back we did a wine tasting event on the first sea day that was awesome. I think it was $15 pp but we tried a bunch of wines and were able to sample small plates of amazing food from the steakhouse. Anyone know if this is still available?

    Tia!

  7. I believe they've added those to the banned list for that reason. I'm sure I saw that either here or on Carnivals website. No blow up pools on deck.

I wish they did have a kiddie pool for little ones. I could take my son this year.

Ugg really? I had no idea. [emoji53] If nothing else we have swim days in all of the ports aside from one so she'll get her chance to swim off the ship.

They really need to make a splash area for babies in diapers.
