what an incredible difficult thing you are going thru
even a divorce you want is hard to do but you have extra layers involved
remember, so many people are on your side and you will come out of the darkness.

Our house has been on the market for 3 weeks. We only had one showing in all that time but they made an offer. $35,000 less than asking. They want us to pay all closing fees. Real estate market is apparently very slow right now. Realtor thinks we should take it. I want to counter for at least $5000 more. What says the Tribe?
I would counter to cover all the closing fees and then some

I decided to re check flights for Miami on Southwest for my Horizon cruise. The only non stop options on my dates turned out to be over $1,100!... Not happening. The search continues.
No way. Seriously from someone who drives from Michigan to Miami, piece of cake from Atlanta

WOW!!
Why would you even say I haven't been to Detroit?
I worked for a company called PVS Chemicals located at 10900 Harper Detroit 48213 and they flew me there 3 different times.
It was a frickin' zoo and the owner of the company had encircled his entire property with razor wire topped fencing and the employee parking lot had a holding area once your electronic pass card activated the gate, then you'd hold in place until the gate closed behind you then the next gate would open allowing you access to the employee parking lot.
The owner of PVS Chemicals was very smart though, he literally built a buffer around his property by purchasing all the surrounding properties adjacent to his building when they would burn down due to meth heads blowing them up or copper pirates starting fires when stealing electrical wires.
I know a caca hole when I see one.
Because you slammed it. When was the last time you were there?

Ain't nobody want to be in Detroit after dark...
Tell me you haven’t been to Detroit without telling me you haven’t been
that is a blatant untruth.

Perhaps a private yacht is what you are looking for. Not a main stream cruise line.
That’d be awesome but not going to happen. I’ll take Seabourn.

Huston, we have a problem… someone forgot to order food and beer!
The Norwegian Encore has a capacity of 3998 passengers. This week, we are sailing with over 4900 passengers. Of the 4900 passengers, there are over 1400 kids onboard.
Of the over 4900 passengers, there are no Ambassadors and only 7 Diamond members.
I don’t want to sail on a ship with over 1400 pax let alone over 1400 kids!

I was in Santorini last September on NCL Breakaway. We were the only ship in port. We all thought that it would be a piece of cake with the cable cars. WRONG!!! First off, since we were the only ship in port for quite some time, they decided to do maintenance. The line wrapped around forever waiting to go up. We had an independent tour, so I was concerned we would miss it!! We didn't, luckily. We did a tour with Tours by Locals--great company to work with! On our return, they dropped us off almost to the cable car station. I noticed a line going way back and asked if it was the line for the cable car--it was and it was a VERY LONG line down the street and around a few corners. I was really concerned that we would miss the ship--AND there was a TON of people in line behind us. That's when I realized that there was no way that they were going to leave that many people behind. We ended up getting on the tender at the all aboard time (still LOTS of people behind us). The ship ended up leaving about 45 minutes late. We had waited in line for almost 2 hours!! Everyone on board the tender was in agreement that Santorini was a one a done. The cable car/tender fiasco left everyone with a very bad taste in their mouth, not wanting to ever return!! Unfortunately, the cable car company has a monopoly on the access to the top of the cliff, so no competition and they are making money hand over fist, so no urgency to change things up a bit. I cannot imagine being in Santorini on a busy cruise ship day in high season. I would stay on the ship!! In fact, if I do return to Santorini, I'm only staying at the bottom area!!
I walked down. No donkeys, just what they left behind.

They may not be responsible for the situation, but they are responsible for giving you the cruise you booked. How would it be if you booked a cruise out of Miami and they said, oh, your cruise is now leaving from LA, it is your problem?
IMO, they should offer transport to/from Baltimore and Norfolk.
Or either let you cancel for a full refund or for say 150% of your fare as a credit to a future cruise.
Miami to LA is hardly the same as Baltimore Norfolk. LMAO

Thank you, Bird, for posting essentially nothing that hasn't already been said. I think I can ask for the board when I ask, do you actually read a thread, or do you just respond to random posts that catch your eye?
I intend no disrespect. Just curious.
Wow. Talk about a nothing post. Harsh.

While I have empathy for those who missed the boat, anyone who flies in the day of a cruise are out of their mind!
also, if true they used ncl air it seem NCL Wundt have been better served waiting and sailing a couple of hours late than trying to figure out how to get them to catch up to the ship, put them up in hotels etc- 2

The apartment smelled pretty good when I got home, and I immediately headed out to walk to Whole Foods and Publix for additional items. Limes from Whole Foods, then from there straight down Peachtree... Picked up sauerkraut and Swiss cheese, and next thing I was back home. Put some cheese on some bread in the toaster oven while I sliced some brisket. Pretty soon I had a pretty nice looking dinner, and I'm telling you this was awesome and so easy.
Limes are squoze, and I'm drinking a margarita now, and almost ready for another...
Perfection. Can’t find a corned beef brisket around here
