I reserved our luggage with Port Valet and guessed at the number of bags we would have but now we might be able to downsize into 2 instead of 3 suitcases. Can I revise that somehow? Also I read that those charges are charged to our onboard account. Is that true? Or is it the airline that charges our credit card? Thanks very much!

I was wondering if there is any advantage to pre-booking our glacier shuttle transfers now directly online (not thru cruiseline) or wait til we arrive and book at one of the kiosks. Is there any savings? Also I've seen the blue school buses or the white buses.... any recommendations on either of those. Thanks so much!

I just booked an expensive excursion in Icy Strait Pointe last week and then today saw that there is a time difference. Do we stay on ship time (Seattle time) or do we change our watches during this cruise to match port times? I'm hoping I didn't screw up our excursion time as I chose first thing in the morning. I bought a wedding set on Amazon specifically for vacations. I wore it and loved it on Symphony in Nov. I also bring other jewelry... necklaces, bracelets, earrings etc that are not gold so as not to worry if I lose one.

Thanks everyone! I'm thinking of just going ahead and doing this tour. If we don't have time for the hike at Mendenhall thats ok. A quick look will do and then we'll hop on the bus back to the port. We've done the hike at Mendenhall before but the others in our group haven't.

Has anyone taken the Premier Whale Watch & Mendenhall Glacier combo on Viator.com? Is viator a reputable site for excursions? This is exactly the tour we are looking for but I get nervous booking with tours that are not thru our cruise ship (Royal Caribbean Quantum). We want to do the whale watch first and then have enough time to do the hike to Nugget falls at Mendenhall. Our port time is 1-9, tour is 2:30 and is 5 hours long. Seems good but you know... just looking for some reviews on this or recommendations on excursions you guys have done that fit the bill. Thanks!
