I would love it! I've seen this area so many times in all its summer fashions, and I would love to see it in its winter dress. I imagine it would be a totally different experience, for reasons well beyond the temperature change.
The chance of seeing the Northern Lights would be an added bonus.
I don't believe very many lines could do this route at that time of year, as the demand just wouldn't be there. But once every few years, sure.
I am totally with you on this. I can't imagine how beautiful the scenery would be and it truly would be a unique experience.

The Westie will be mine also - unfortunately it won't be until April 2016 tho'. :( Looking foward to Hawaii Tahiti from San Diego.:)
It is getting hard to wait, but I do remember when it was more than a year out. So looking forward to getting onboard.

Still have to log in every time. No freebie today. I did notice that when I hit the button for log in that my password disappears.

We have checked a few times with our tech team and they say the issue is not on our end. That said we are using older software. How many of you who are having issues have recently upgraded ir updated your browser? If so please post which browser and version you are using.
We are sorry you are experiencing these issues
Laura
I have not upgraded my browser. I have the same problem on Chrome as well as Internet Explorer. Occasionally, when I come to CC, I am still signed in, but generally I'm not. This happens on my PC, Surface tablet and Kindle. IF the problem was on my end, and not CC's, I don't think it would have happened simultaneously on all three devices.

Looks like she's moving away from the pier.

Guess I missed the start of the parade, but made it in time for Prinsendam.

Often, people in the real world simply don't have "choices" - they do what they have to do, and grin and bear it.:(
Amen.

I was remembered once today when I came to CC. The rest of the time, I have to log in.

And Noordam is moving away.

Was that Legend with the paperwork snafu?
That's what I think I heard.

My problems started before the Windows update. Sometimes I have to login and sometimes I don't. Generally, once a day I can come here and not have to login. One day that happened twice!

We are part way in between as well. We've established a tradition of going to the Pinnacle Grill on the last night of the cruise, so I always book that in advance. As for shore excursions, it depends on the port. In some, we know exactly what we want to do and in others, we just wing it depending on our mood.
For example, in Bar Harbor we know we want to go to Acadia and hike, so we get ourselves to the shuttle bus as quickly as possible and head out to the park. Next September we know we want to go to Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau and plan to take the bus out and perhaps a taxi back. We want time to do some hiking if possible and excursions don't offer the time we want. In other ports if there is an excursion that interests us we will book on the ship. If there's no room on the excursion, we can always entertain ourselves in town.
For my South America cruise there were several ports where I did pre-book excursions because I was on my own and didn't feel comfortable walking around by myself. Those were the excursions that interested me and I wanted to make sure there was room for me.

Thanks, Walt, for letting us know what is going on. Yes, this is a small issue but very annoying.

I'm hoping I've cured the problem for me. On the merged thread from all the cruise lines someone gave the explanation of what kind of cookies you need to stay logged in. I generally use Google Chrome, but I closed out of that, went to Internet Explorer and logged in to CC. Migrated away and came back and I was still logged in. I closed IE, came back to Chrome about 10 minutes later and I'm still logged in.
Perhaps, when I logged in with IE, I created the cookies needed to keep me logged in.
Crossing my fingers.

If it was my computer, why doesn't it happen on other forums where I stay signed in?

Dinner is ready. It has been fun again.

Thanks, Walt, for letting us know that the issue is still being worked on. It has changed from intermittent to full time for me, no matter which device or browser I use. While not a life altering issue, it is annoying.
