Deck - 10
Cabin # - 1267
Class – C3
Starboard or Port Side - Port
Bed near?(balcony or bath) – Bath
Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Quiet
Balcony View - Standard view, can't see forward past hump, lifeboats directly below.
Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal
Was wind a problem? When it was extremely windy we would get a howling noise around the door even in the locked position.
If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? N/A
Any specific problems with this cabin? Had an issue with the power outlets when at cruising speed, my flat iron wouldn't work and my battery chargers did not charge properly. Tried the flat iron in my friends room at a time when it wasn't working in my room and it worked fine there, so I think it is a problem with this specific cabin. It was never an issue at slow speeds (below 5 knots and when in port) Weird, I know.
Any other comments? Could also occasionally smell cigarette smoke from deck 5, will probably book the starboard side in the future.

I don't see any of the vitamin water listed as zero, does anyone know if they have the zero calorie version onboard?
Also can someone elaborate on what exactly these are :D The only thing I have had is a frappe (curious about the iglu part on that one!)

I have a Aquapak case for my camera now but the casse is a little too big and I have to make sure that the black ring for the lens isn't in the way when I am taking pictures. I use it when I go on all vacations and for trips to the waterpark so I think a waterproof camera would be a good investment for me!
Well I think you will love this camera, it also takes HD video which came in handy to video my 2y.o. nephew dancing with the waiters in the MDR:D. Just make sure to not put your finger over the lens because it is at the top corner (got me a few times:p)

Those are great shots! I've been wanting a new point and shoot so I'm going to have to look into this one! Thanks!
If you cruise a lot and need a waterproof I recommend it. If you don't need the waterproof feature you can probably get an equivalent Panasonic P&S for cheaper that may have better photo features. I got mine on Amazon and they had a good price on it. Some places were wanting a lot more for them.

How long of a bus ride is it?
I think it is about 2 hours (pretty sure it is on the border with Guatemala), I really wanted to go but my husband didn't feel like going that far. :(

I can't believe these were taken with a point and shoot! What is the model of your camera?
It was the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2 waterproof. I had it in HDR shooting mode and the color mode was Happy. I really like this camera and took a lot of pics with it when my Canon 40D would have been fogged up.

I was taking a picture of the biggest bridge on Roatan when this guy walked into the shot :p What timing!

One sided competition?

another shot with the Panasonic waterproof. It has an HDR setting that actually produces nice looking shots:)

Took a lot of shots of this, thought the ever present reflection was pretty. It was shot with my new Panasonic point & shoot waterproof. It takes pretty decent pics, I was impressed.

The south Florida coast the night before we arrived back in Port Canaveral. The wind was blowing so hard I couldn't hold the camera still on the rail.

I thought cigar smoking was only allowed in the cigar bar:confused:

Huh. When I see those the arrow points up.
I was afraid they were leading to Dollywood.

Great! We will want to see some of those photos when you get back! ;)
Of course!

Your pics look good, Thanks :) I think I will probably order this camera for the days we snorkel. Wildlife photography is my hobby so hopefully I will be able to keep up with some of the fishies :D

I am considering picking up one of these for our upcoming cruise. Not sure if any of you are also SLR users but my main camera is a Canon 40D, do you think I will be happy with the image quality of the D10?
Any advice would be appreciated :)

Hot Glass Show
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
We loved the hot glass show and I would choose one of the older ships over the new ones for this reason. They raffled around 3 to 5 pieces per show and with just a day or two to spare on our 14 night cruise, we won a piece! As everyone has mentioned, they also auctioned pieces but the prices got pretty high for those.
Here is a picture of the piece we won being held by the artist that made it.:)
