  1. my husband has swallowing issues from radiation treatment

He does have a PEG tube,we bring the liquid on board for the trip

My husband always eats in the stateroom,I have breakfast and lunch in the dinning areas and my husband joins me for dinner and he will have something to drink

Sometimes we have dinner served in the room

He has cruised twice with the PEG tube and we have TSA pre check ,helps with bringing the liquid on board the plane

you may e-mail if you have any questions

  2. My husband and I ,left the ship yesterday after the 10 day cruise.

I did notice in the Terrace Cafe ,yesterday ,only the place mats were being changed.

This was our 7th Oceania voyage ,the embarkation was long.

We were notified about the delay and arrived at the pier about 1:15,called to board about 2:30.After checking in, we were given numbers for boarding groups we were 5 and the numbers went to at least 23 with a long delay between groups.

After the mid cruise comment cards were read ,the Captain came on and stated that most passengers were concerned about the lack of information coming from Oceania concerning the noro virus. At that time we received daily updates, some reports of GI upset but most did not test positive for noro.

I will agree that by midday on the 11th ,they were clearing the rooms of everything ,glasses, robes and trays.

We have been delayed disembarking in Miami on previous cruises ,yesterday everything for us was smooth and we were out of the terminal by 8:10am

I do hope that if this was your first trip with Oceania ,that you give them one more try to show you that they can do a wonderful job .

  3. I have attended 4 cooking classes,2 on Marina and 2 on Riviera

all of the classes were with Chef Kelley and were most informative and fun

Maybe sign up for one class and see how you like it.

My husband cancelled one class with no problem.

  4. My husband has just returned from his first cruise using a feeding tube

I checked this board before we left and used the great information

We sent 4 cases of liquid nutrition to the hotel by UPS

We left the labeled cases at the dock with our bags and everything was delivered to the stateroom

On our flights he told TSA that he had the liquid 4-6 cans ,they looked in the case, but did not ask to see the medical note.

Everything was easier then we expected

Thank you to everyone for sharing your information
