We had seen that posted on a few threads before our B2B that they delivered any purchases from the duty free liquor store to your cabin on the last day and we were skeptical, but sure enough that's what they did. I even questioned the staff there before making the purchase so I wouldn't get stuck carrying the extra bottles back home and they said they have to close out everyone's purchases at the end of each cruise.

So if I read this correctly, anything we buy in the duty free liquor store aboard ship on leg 1 of a b2b will be delivered to us on the last day of that cruise and is ours to use throughout the 2nd leg of a b2b ?
They have to close out each cruise totally, they look at B2B cruisers as people ending their current cruise just like everyone else, so they bring any purchases or extra wine you have brought on board to your cabin on that last day. On turn around day, once everyone has cleared the ship, they will take the B2B cruisers off the ship to a room in the terminal and give you your new seapass card and you are then welcome to go back on board before the new cruisers are allowed to board or go explore the port until all aboard time

What about B2Bs? Can you board with the allowance for both cruises?
We have had them either hold the other 2 bottles and deliver them to the stateroom on the last day or when questioned I show them that we are B2B and they just let us keep them.
Since they close out each cruise and you start new on the 2nd leg of a B2B, anything you purchase on the 1st leg at the liquor store on board gets delivered to your cabin on that last day also! I drink Kahlua & Bailey's over ice, so if I buy that during the first cruise, I know it will be delivered before the next cruise starts 🙂

We always get the UDP, the restaurants open for lunch on day 1 will be listed in the app, it’s always the quietest day at the specialties and we always are able to walk right in. Go to any of the specialty restaurants as soon as you get onboard with your list of where you want to eat and the times for each day and they will get that set up for you.

Oh, I hope you are having a fabulous cruise and please post any pictures you have!
What kind of cabin are you in?
I thought Diamond got 4 drinks total each for the cruise. Is it really 8 drinks a day between the two of us because I AM the drinker between my dh and me and he would be fine with 4-8 drinks a day (beer or an occasional bloody mary) but I was going to get us both the drink package because I thought I needed to do so. But I'm guessing because we are in the same cabin that will have to be done anyway.
Enjoy every moment!
We just got back yesterday, we were in 10570 which was a great location! Yes, you each get 4 drinks a day, if you still have free drinks at the end of the night they will give you drinks to take back to your cabin like unopened beers, waters, soda, etc. They also did a laundry special which is usually $35, Diamonds get $10 off. It’s limited to swimsuits, underwear, shorts, t-shirts and pj’s, but it’s good for those items so you don’t need to pack as much. You each also get a free 8 x 10 pic, so let them take a few pictures for you to choose from. Have a great cruise!!!

We are on the Odyssey now bringing her back to the states from Europe. As Diamond you get 4 drinks each up to $14 every day, we also had 4 bottles of water the first day in the cabin. You also can get coffee in the Crown Lounge, have a great cruise!

You will receive instructions where to meet with the rest of the people staying on for the morning of the turn around. We have walked off the ship to a room in the terminal where they had a checklist and our new seapass cards, from there you can go back to the ship or leave and walk around the port. We take 4 bottles of wine with us and I have both of our reservations pulled up when we check in for the first cruise, they just wave you through when they see you are staying on for the following cruise. Have fun!!!

You also get a 1 category “free” upgrade for your cabin choice. So you pay for whatever the lower designation is for the cabin you want. So if you want a deluxe veranda, you would pay the price for a prime veranda instead. They won’t let you jump a category like pay for an ocean view and get a veranda and they won’t do the upgrade if you book a suite. You have to ask for the upgrade when booking, they won’t do it for you automatically

We had a train strike in Italy back in 2009 when we wanted to visit Florence, talking to people it seemed normal to them to have a strike going on. Looks like not much has changed

On our recent B2B on the Harmony we quickly found our guy at the Solarium Bar on the first cruise. On the 2nd leg of the cruises everyone was changed around to different bars, our guy ended up at the Rising Tide. A brand new very young guy joined the Solarium Bar crew who knew nothing about being a bartender. Whenever we went there and ended up with him, it was an adventure to see what he would come up with, if he started going way off track we would help him out. One day we ended up with him and a head bartender was there, I ordered a white russian, he was like a deer in headlights. As I went to help him the head guy shook his head no to me and said let him do it himself. He took out a large glass and looked at the bottles as he decided which one to choose in front of the boss. He decided on Baileys and poured 3 shots into the glass (luckily I love Baileys). Next up came the vodka, he choose Grey Goose, 3 full shots of that went into the glass. He looked at me like he was wondering if he was on the right track, his boss again said let him figure it out. Another bartender put milk in front of him, in went the milk and he went to shake it up. The boss looked at me and said what’s the main ingredient in a white russian, I said Kahlua, in went 3 shots of that. The boss asked me if I wanted it made without Baileys since that’s not in the drink, I told him I add Baileys when I make them at home, so all was good lol! It was definitely quite the bonus drink for a Diamond drink. When we spoke to him it sounded like he and others are hired, but they are on their own to study how to make the drinks, so they like the ones in the bar menus that list the ingredients.

Those balcony doors are heavier than a regular patio home door and you have to turn the entire handle to even get it unlock to slide open, there's no way a toddler is able to open the door on their own.

While looking at excursions for our upcoming cruise on the Harmony I saw this, I agree 70 is way too young, this maximum age might be a tad to old to do the tour...

We are on our first B2B this year, does that mean we have 4 the last morning to use and 4 more are loaded on our card when we check in for the 2nd leg of our B2B as it’s considered the start of the next cruise?

so the question becomes, can you add more guests. Obviously the number of beds has doubled.
I was thinking the same thing. We could add our son to our cabin if we won the bid and he would end up with his own cabin.

We have always booked an ocean balcony on the hump, this past December we booked a CP balcony on the Allure. We weren't sure how we would like it, but it was great! We just booked a b2b on the Harmony and reserved the same cabin we had last year 🙂

Thank you for doing this, we board the Reflection next week, she was the last ship we were on before the covid shut down

I wonder what the calorie count is for the Godiva Chocolate Martini with Bailey's...
Haha, probably pretty high, but I seldom have a dessert since I own a bakery, so on vacation the Godiva martini is my dessert. When it comes to sweets it's a no from me since that's what I make all day at work 🙂
-
Everything's better with Baileys! Try a white chocolate mocha with a shot of Baileys, I get one every morning at the Cafe, so good! At night I get a Godiva chocolate martini with vanilla vodka & Baileys at the martini bar. Oh, the cats in my picture, they are brother & sister, the black one is Boo and the seal point is Bailey 🙂

Lots of amenities surrounding the immediate Rockley/Accra area
even a bus-stop to get you back into Bridgetown!
Snack shacks are right there,
public toilets (and shower, even if somewhat crude)
Shade trees...
Pizza and fast food at Chefette, immediately across the street,
Taxi stand next door to the Accra Hotel.
Umbrellas and chairs for hire, Boogey boards too I believe..
but no snorkelling equip. I don't think..?
bcoz snorkelling is limited to the single, man-made offshore barrier reef
which has interesting marine growth, if you're up to the 150 yard swim, out to it- so bring yer own gear OK?
U need more pics?
.
I sent your pics over to my husband, it got the thumbs up, so that's another day checked off our list! We travel with our own snorkel gear, so that's perfect! 🙂

Thank you so much for the pics! Last time we did the caves and a land tour, so this time we were looking for a beautiful beach or catamaran, this is just what we are looking for!!!

For cruisers who have never been here before
you should probably start your day with a general island tour
that will show you a bit of everything!
Get a group of you together
and hire one of those multi-seat vans that'll seat up to 10.
Tell him/her what interests you: I'm sure they'll accommodate you.
You want to see churches? Check. Monkeys? Check.Scenic EAST COAST? Check! Easy.
You also need to get over to the Caribbean section of these many boards
and find the Barbados category. Lots of advice there, with pictures, etc.
.
We are going here in November, it's been about 20 years since we were last there. What white sand beach is shown in the top pics, it's beautiful!

Alternatively, you can board and find a nice bar to sit in with your luggage and a drink and then, as the rooms open, drop off your luggage and head for a now quiet buffet..
This is what we do 🙂

Thanks so much. Last November we were able to buy it right on our cruise planner 🙂

That's still ok if you have to carry it to your cabin instead of them delivering it, it's available for the entire next leg of the B2B
