  1. We got our Royal Up confirmation 30 days before our sailing
  2. We always get the UDP, the restaurants open for lunch on day 1 will be listed in the app, it’s always the quietest day at the specialties and we always are able to walk right in. Go to any of the specialty restaurants as soon as you get onboard with your list of where you want to eat and the times for each day and they will get that set up for you.
  3. We just got back yesterday, we were in 10570 which was a great location! Yes, you each get 4 drinks a day, if you still have free drinks at the end of the night they will give you drinks to take back to your cabin like unopened beers, waters, soda, etc. They also did a laundry special which is usually $35, Diamonds get $10 off. It’s limited to swimsuits, underwear, shorts, t-shirts and pj’s, but it’s good for those items so you don’t need to pack as much. You each also get a free 8 x 10 pic, so let them take a few pictures for you to choose from. Have a great cruise!!!
  4. We are on the Odyssey now bringing her back to the states from Europe. As Diamond you get 4 drinks each up to $14 every day, we also had 4 bottles of water the first day in the cabin. You also can get coffee in the Crown Lounge, have a great cruise!
  5. You will receive instructions where to meet with the rest of the people staying on for the morning of the turn around. We have walked off the ship to a room in the terminal where they had a checklist and our new seapass cards, from there you can go back to the ship or leave and walk around the port. We take 4 bottles of wine with us and I have both of our reservations pulled up when we check in for the first cruise, they just wave you through when they see you are staying on for the following cruise. Have fun!!!
  6. You also get a 1 category “free” upgrade for your cabin choice. So you pay for whatever the lower designation is for the cabin you want. So if you want a deluxe veranda, you would pay the price for a prime veranda instead. They won’t let you jump a category like pay for an ocean view and get a veranda and they won’t do the upgrade if you book a suite. You have to ask for the upgrade when booking, they won’t do it for you automatically
  7. We had a train strike in Italy back in 2009 when we wanted to visit Florence, talking to people it seemed normal to them to have a strike going on. Looks like not much has changed
  8. On our recent B2B on the Harmony we quickly found our guy at the Solarium Bar on the first cruise. On the 2nd leg of the cruises everyone was changed around to different bars, our guy ended up at the Rising Tide. A brand new very young guy joined the Solarium Bar crew who knew nothing about being a bartender. Whenever we went there and ended up with him, it was an adventure to see what he would come up with, if he started going way off track we would help him out. One day we ended up with him and a head bartender was there, I ordered a white russian, he was like a deer in headlights. As I went to help him the head guy shook his head no to me and said let him do it himself. He took out a large glass and looked at the bottles as he decided which one to choose in front of the boss. He decided on Baileys and poured 3 shots into the glass (luckily I love Baileys). Next up came the vodka, he choose Grey Goose, 3 full shots of that went into the glass. He looked at me like he was wondering if he was on the right track, his boss again said let him figure it out. Another bartender put milk in front of him, in went the milk and he went to shake it up. The boss looked at me and said what’s the main ingredient in a white russian, I said Kahlua, in went 3 shots of that. The boss asked me if I wanted it made without Baileys since that’s not in the drink, I told him I add Baileys when I make them at home, so all was good lol! It was definitely quite the bonus drink for a Diamond drink. When we spoke to him it sounded like he and others are hired, but they are on their own to study how to make the drinks, so they like the ones in the bar menus that list the ingredients.
  9. Those balcony doors are heavier than a regular patio home door and you have to turn the entire handle to even get it unlock to slide open, there's no way a toddler is able to open the door on their own.
  10. While looking at excursions for our upcoming cruise on the Harmony I saw this, I agree 70 is way too young, this maximum age might be a tad to old to do the tour... Exclusive Beach Break at Discovery Bay Departs at Day 4 9:45 am, 10:15 am Duration 4hr Activity Level Mild Full participation may require leisurely walking over primarily even surfaces... Restrictions Maximum age: 300 years
  11. We are on our first B2B this year, does that mean we have 4 the last morning to use and 4 more are loaded on our card when we check in for the 2nd leg of our B2B as it’s considered the start of the next cruise?
